This. I still get enough enjoyment out of watching the youngsters without having to worry that much about winning or losing. The season a few years ago when we ended up as the nr. 1 seed was much more stressful as every game seemed important. Do hope Keyonte is back soon.
I agree it’s not massive leaps, but if you look at the flashes he shows now compared to how lost he looked at both ends not that long ago, I’m pretty happy with the progress he’s shown in only about a dozen games with inconsistent minutes.
Nr. 3 pick vs nr. 16 pick per 36. Obviously plenty to improve on for both, but for now were not doing too shabby comparatively:

I’m just now watching the Nets game and Ochai had a nice little drive into a pull up 2. I certainly didn’t expect that so it was a pleasant surprise to see he can apparently do that.
If I recall correctly they tended to beat the teams below them consistently but struggled against better teams last year, which is not a great recipe for the playoffs. Obviously this year they’ve been very unlucky with injuries, but I don’t think their team is built for deep playoff success.
Hendricks’ last bucket was a nice strong drive after faking a 3. Good to see he’s putting the ball on the floor a bit more already and isn’t just static shooting 3s.
