Lol - he has had one season in his career where he had less than 58 games. Outside of one injury he has been pretty solid throughout his career. But you guarantee he will be injured for the next two years at a catastrophic level that will ruin his entire career. Same logic… trade Lauri right...

Yes - I do want Dame for the 1-2 years he has left of his prime, and 80% Dame for years 3-4. I think we have a window now and with him we have a chance at a title now and again in four years when everyone else is in their prime and we reset from Dame’s contract.

If you don’t want Dame… what’s the alternative? Hope Luka wants out and he is willing to give Utah a chance? Hope a rookie blows up to be a top 20 player in the next 1-2 years? Embrace the Dame (if it’s a reasonable deal).

Depends on who we have to give up to get Dame. If this is more picks vs players then you don’t really need to go get anyone else. That is a very competitive team that would have as much chance as any other team… just have to see how they gel.

5-6 seed now… 1-2 seed if they get Dame. People keep talking timeline, but the timeline is now while we have a bunch of young talent on cheap contracts.
