Does Donovan Start Season in Utah?

I kinda hope he does. Would be funny listening to him fumble and bumble through all of the questions + pretend he doesn't want out.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

This would be patently absurd and I'm here for it.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

The 4D chess side of me thinks Ainge was blowing smoke up the Knicks asses the whole time. RJ as a piece of the rebuild makes very little sense to me. I think he really wanted only the unprotected picks knowing that a cap-strapped core built around Donovan, RJB, Randle, and Brunson goes...

Where the hell did she pull Juan Toscano Anderson from?

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

3 unprotecteds + the other presumed sweeteners is pretty juicy, IMO.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Zero concern with what Ainge has done so far. He has cost us nothing by waiting. If anything he has solicited as many offers from as many interested parties as possible. I do hope he is traded by Christmas so we don't trip into too many extra wins + risk a fluke injury. I put a lot of the...

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

But good of him to not "request" a trade yet. What a freaking sham.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Would seem to bode well for our purposes.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

"Not horrible" is horrible though. Definition of NBA purgatory, aka fan hell. No fun or future in picking #13th - #18th every season.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Interesting. Didn't realize that. I'm still all about the Knicks. The draft capital there is just unbeatable, plus we know they're a garbage franchise. Stephen A blew his wad today pleading for the trade to happen. Let's hope pressure/momentum is mounting.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

But if it is the Wiz - we need a **** ton of picks. IMO, at least 3 firsts + 3 swaps, given that we can't get any 2023 assets from them.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

I'd be all about Kispert. I think he's Wally Szczerbiak in a few seasons. Perfect type of player for our trajectory. Won't help us win now, but in a few years, should be a key role player with a rebuilt core + would have FRP+ trade value to a contender if we're still floundering.

    Evaluate young (potential) Jazz players

You're super underrated on here it seems, too.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

I like this idea quite a bit. We buy out Russ, get add'l first round picks to do so, and take a ransom from the Knicks.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Grimes would be a "nice to have" based on his favorable contract terms, but should not be a deal breaker for us. Will be severely disappointed if we give up any significant draft capital to get him in the deal.

Jazz and Knicks discussing Donovan Mitchell trade per Shams Charania and Tony Jones

Yeah, Rose can eat a chode if he thinks he gets DM for bad contracts + heavily protected picks.

Name a player that wouldve won Stockton & Malone rings.

Kirilenko was played out of position as soon as Boozer got healthy in '06-'07 and we kicked him to the wing. I'll die on this hill.

    Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I'd do it. Kill 4 birds with one stone.
