I still don't understand what happened. Everyone assumed he was ready to play, and then on game-day the training staff performed some tests on Donovan and then changed their minds? Obviously Donovan thought he was ready, and apparently received better (in his eyes) treatment from trainers...
How many games did Gobert foul out this year? Certainly not blaming this one on the refs but it seems like they were calling some pretty soft stuff on Rudy.
Got my second vaccine shot Friday, so I've been laying around watching basketball all weekend. Effects are wearing off just in time to enjoy the Jazz win tonight
If we end up playing Memphis or GS in the first round, this approach to being extra cautious with Mike and Donovan is probably a good call. If we have to play the Lakers in round 1, and need to be geared up playing 100%, it might end up biting us.
That's funny, because where I live police sure seem to have a lot of time to write citations and issue fines for minor traffic violations. I guess increasing citation revenues is more important than investigating burglaries.
We should be holding everyone to the same standards, including general public opinion.
Police are asked to do a broad range of services that just are not compatible. Makes me think of a Reason TV bit. Check out the clip at about 45 seconds in.
Honestly, that seems fair. This is a bad dude, but I'm not sure he deserves life in prison. Just my opinion.
At the same time, let's all keep in mind that this wasn't one rogue guy. The law enforcement system needs to get a lot better. Someone hired this guy. Someone trained this guy. Someone...
Of all the retired players out there, I can't think of anyone I would rather have as part of the ownership group, even more than former Jazz players. Dwyane is such a good guy and respected everywhere. This is great.
I have no idea why the number of drop boxes was reduced (low usage, or pure evil), but they were already requiring some form of ID prior to this. Georgia also issues FREE voter ID cards to anyone that wants one, so I don't think its an undue burden on poorer people to meet the voting...
What were the requirements before? My understanding is that they still have "no-excuse" absentee voting, and all that is required is for someone to put in the DL number or last 4 of their social on the application. Admittedly, maybe I'm missing something, but it seems very simple for 99.9% of...
Would you prefer or Liberal or Conservative slant? JK.
Someone please add if I'm missing out key parts, which I'm sure I am:
-Expands early voting options. Requires that Saturdays are mandatory.
-Some minor changes to the identification requirements (specifically for absentee ballots). Need...
As a small government advocate, I'm often averse to more legislation. You're right, nothing really needed to change, but that's what politicians do.......they get laws passed that often times do nothing or screw us over.
