There is a toxic environment right now around here. You either agree Rubio sucks and must be traded asap or you're not a good fan and should go somewhere else. Nice.

What do you do with Rubio long-term?

All those quotes are from the last month. There are only a couple of post saying "Rubio sucks as much as Teague". 99% of the Wolves' fans consider the move from Rubio to Teague a failure, and remember, Rubio at least would be an expiring now. Teague is going to opt in, 19M another year...

What do you do with Rubio long-term?

Most of the times Rubio and Gobert sub in together, so Quin Snyder absolutely thinks they are a good fit. Again, whatever posters who have turned the page on Rubio think, QS has a completely opposite opinion. Take that into account when predicting the future. Stating your wishes is one thing...

What do you do with Rubio long-term?

Tobias Harris is the stretch-4 I (and Donovan?) want. He's shooting 88-50-44. Rubio would be stupid to ask for too much money and leave the Jazz. This franchise is exemplary, competitive, and supportive. A great coach, a deep roster, the #1 defense, a soon to be top 10 player. Out there, 99%...

Game Thread - Jazz @ Clippers 8:30 PM MTN

Lots of if's I know but: If Donovan plays like he's playing. If Rudy plays like he's playing. If Exum plays like he was playing before the injury. If Rubio plays like he played the 2nd half of last season. + Ingles, Korver, and Crowder. + a soft schedule. = a top seed. Home court advantage @...

Based on those 2 months, Rubio should have been traded asap. He sucked. But QS kept his confidence and Rubio looked way better in December as I showed. Pretty much like last season, only the improvement started 1 month and a half earlier this time. Your first quarter stats comparing with Rubio...

"But Favors also gets guarded more tightly on the perimeter than Rubio statistically, which is pretty sad." Stats are helpful but don't tell the whole story because they don't take into account certain things. For instance, I showed a highlight video a few posts ago. Rubio made 2 open 3...

Please explain. Rubio hurts our spacing on offense, but the Jazz as a team attempt 30 of their 38 3s per game either open or wide open. If Rubio hurts our spacing, how come the whole team keeps shooting wide open 3s? Rubio started terribly, I'll be the first to admit, but like every year, he...

Fake news repeated to death but still fake. You say his %s are good because defenses don't guard him, so let's watch any game highlights. We should be able to watch all those made baskets wide open, left alone. For example, a game we lost against a pretty good opponent. An old foe, a team that...

I don't want to hype our season too much, but the Jazz are 3 games behind the 3rd seed. Our next 2 months are filled with games against West teams, so mostly good teams fighting for a playoff spot, but then March 14 comes. These are our last 16 games: @ Suns vs Timberwolves vs Nets @ Wizards...

How can you compare stats from 41 games (16 at home, 25 away) that included 2 vs OKC, 2 vs Toronto, 2 vs Houston, 2 vs GS, 2 vs Spurs, 2 vs Indiana, 2 vs 76ers, etc. to 4 games at home vs Orlando, LA (no Lebron), Chicago, and Detroit?????? Just the refereeing is like night and day.

Conclusions based on random plays tend to be incorrect: many, many times (with Rubio) we grab a rebound, Donovan or Joe is the first to get the ball and attacks the rim at will if the defense is not set. Heck, even Crowder does it at times. Passing it to Rubio first is not a requirement at all...

I guess he meant Orlando. Dallas started strong and they are 16-5 at home (although the way we lost was beyond sickening) Miami is over .500 Memphis started strong but for some reason now they are terrible. Minnesota is tough. They are also kind of Jekyl and Hyde like we were.

You're entitled to enjoy whatever you want more, but 2nd half last season we looked much better. You know, when we finished 26-9 with "Donovan handing the ball to Rubio". By the way, we beat the Pistons by 31. Donovan didn't have to perform any miracles because the game was over at halftime.

Watching Donovan play, he can be anything he wants. If he wants to be the starting PG, he will be. He's that good. I still think (wishful thinking?) both Quin and Don want a PG sharing the ball with him for 82 games, not just a shooter. IMO Donovan is spending much more energy the last 3 games...

That's why I wrote "very probably". It's not 100% guaranteed, but IMO it's certainly more than 50% Quin wants Rubio re-signed (at a fair price).

Quin Snyder doesn't see things like most of you, so this is a mute point. He clearly likes Rubio and also wants to see Mitchell surrounded by good ball handlers sharing responsibilities. If QS and DL were as reactive to every last game as fans are, our whole team would have been traded/maxed 10...
