2 of the 3 losses against the Thunder this season, Gobert and/or Mitchell were out and Hood, Burks, Joe Jesus, and Udoh played +80 minutes combined, average 20 min each. O'Neale was a spectator, Rubio was awful, no Crowder, no Exum.
Moving from the Jazz to the Suns would take serious desire to disappear into NBA oblivion. I guess money trumps it all, but the Jazz are on a 28-5 run, while the Suns are on a 3-30 run.
The only way I see tanking teams getting Favors is paying him twice as much as the Jazz. I love Favors but if...

This one hurt really bad. Jazz were up 72-55 and 80-68...
Rubio didn't play in the second half, but Snyder said he was the key for Utah to start the game.
"I thought he stabilized us at the beginning of the game," Snyder said. "I think his presence on the court was really important. His leadership is one of the reasons we're where we are."
When trying to predict his future, many people expect Rubio to be gone "because Exum is the future". I'm surprised by that. Let's see: QS wanted Rubio, to the point the organization gave up a 1st rounder to get him. He immediately became the starter. He struggled at first and QS showed patience...
I'm glad you are not our GM. That whole paragraph is just wow.
What's wrong with his "style"? You don't like the man-bun? Because his basketball style looks great to me.
Would be age? Is he 33? He's 27!!
If Exum is our starting PG? If? Rubio would play only if Exum gets hurt? WTF?
We cant bring...
I want the Wolves (if they make it). How did I miss this?

Getting closer and closer to the unexpected #3.
Two things are needed to get a Utah @ Portland showdown for #3:
1 Utah wins @LA and vs GS
2 Portland doesn't win both @SA and @Den
Last 11 games with Butler they went 5-6 with losses @Atlanta and @Chicago. After a hot start they've been a .500 team with Butler and a sub .500 team without him.
If we beat them we hold the tiebreaker, so winning out puts us at 49 wins. They have 48 today, so they would have to win 2 games of those 3 to finish in front: @Hou @SA @Den. With Lillard out.
Told differently:
Portland @Hou (L) @SA (L) @Den (W): 49W
Utah LAC (W) @LA (W) GS (W): 48W
Last game...
Please keep him. Solid starting 4 and incredible backup 5. If we lose him, we need to find 2 players (Udoh is not the answer) and very probably both will be worse and will get more money combined than Favors alone.
Last season, January 1st until the end (47 games):
200/483 FG 40/124 3PT 191/212 FT
41 FG% 32 3PT% 90 FT%
Before that, he'd been awful, around 35 FG% and 28 3pt%
