I would say my father leans Democrat but mostly doesn't give a **** or think about it that much. My mother has always voted Republican and I'm fairly sure that she begrudgingly voted for Trump.

Most people are pretty consistent. They may have some things they disagree with their team on but those issues are often cursory. The 2 most common groupings of viewpoints are mirrored back at us by the parties designed to win votes/arguments... and they do.

I am a registered Libertarian. Always have been. My politics are most closely aligned with 19th and 20th century Anarchists but that is just not an option. I tend to vote for both Republicans and Democrats(thems my choices most of the time) but not the Centrist variety.
