I saw this one coming from a mile a way. Coach had to see it too. We got hit by a steamroller.
Hopefully we can learn just as much from a big loss as we can learn from a tight loss.
Hearing David Locke talk, supposedly he's as good as CJ Miles was in practice.
EDIT: I realized that might sound like a knock on Ingles. What I meant was that he is an amazing 3 point shooter during practice and shooting drills.
Jerry would have said something similar but filthier. "Wake the *** UP! ****ing wake up! Trey, you ****! Rudy stop ****ing them in the *** and wake the **** up!"
For the longest time on these boards I refused to refer to Jerry Sloan as "Sloan" or "Coach Sloan". I always called him "COY", partly because I was tired of all the hate he was getting on the boards and partly because it was an honor he had deserved and never gotten.
I'm really tempted to start...
Brown is bad, but Booner has his issues too. His favorite phrase is "for the most part". I swear I've heard him use it three times in the same paragraph.
The best thing that happened to him is working with Locke on the radio broadcast. Locke thinks he is a genius and his constant compliments...
If both Hayward and Melo were rookies today, Melo 100% yes. He would have become a different player under the Jazz and Quinn than he did in Denver and his overall talent level is way higher.
Melo and Hayward today, considering Hayward is on the Rise and Melo is going downhill from here, Hayward...
My wife could knit one way uglier than that. Of course it would cost 150 bucks in yarn and take her a few months to get around to finishing it. 65 bucks is a steal.
I'm not quite with you yet. I don't think Exum is ready for starting minutes. Trey looked pretty good in the preseason and though Exum undoubtedly has the higher talent level, he needs time to grow into it.
The fourth went like I feared. I knew that a close game would be too tough for us right now. Paul/Crawford/Griffin all have qualities that let them win close games. Our guys have them at times, mainly Hayward and Trey, but they aren't yet consistent.
That being said, I loved the fight out of...
It worked for us last game.
Of course there are other circumstances around it, but this seems to happen to us a lot. A team is on a losing streak. They hit us. Suddenly they are invigorated. The thing is that they will see us as a team they should beat. This is why we have to get that lead early.
The Clip's big loss last night makes this a tough game to win no matter how many games they've played in how many nights. They don't want to lose to the Kings and Jazz back to back. If we are going to win this, we need to have a nice lead going into the fourth. We can't beat these guys in a...
I'm not too disappointed by this. I liked him alright, but now I'm looking forward to not having to notice how close together his eyes are every time I watch the Jazz play. He is almost as bad as Deandre Jordan.
