I like that Minnesota (and Cavs) are bucking the small ball trend. You can’t beat Warriors at the game them invented. Minnesota is taking an all-in risk and I look forward to seeing what happens with them.
I would have done Russell instead of Beasley and Beverly… Or included Conley and done Russell and Beasley or Beverly. But otherwise that is a lot of value for Gobert. He is a unique and incredible force. I will miss seeing him in Jazz Uniform.
Washington just traded the package to Denver of KCP + Ish Smith to Denver. That was the package I was hoping the Jazz would get for Conley. A defensive wing + a veteran back-up PG.
Saturdays not Sundays. Jewish people have no provisions for Sunday. And he is willing to play on Shabbat, just not back to back on Friday and Saturdays.
I would definitely like Vogel in an Associate Head Coach role as the defensive coordinator. Put him in charge of the defense and the rotations, let Q handle the offense.
Did him dirty??? He couldn’t play and was on an expiring contract. They sent him to Portland, who let him stay and rehab in Utah with his family. I think that was very much the opposite of treating him dirty.
Tier 1: Gobert and Mitchell - if you have 2 all stars, you don’t get rid of them!!!
Tier 2: Bogdanovic and Clarkson - the only 2 that showed up in the playoffs
Tier 3: Jauncho, House and Paschall - all hustle guys that teams need and deserve consistent minutes
Tier 4: ONeal and Whiteside - ONeal...
Bogey is the only one who played well consistently in series (minus game 5 when no one played well). Bogey was only one who scored in games 1 and 2 and set the tone defensively in game 3.
The idea of blowing up the Jazz is a terrible idea. How many teams wish they had 2 consistent all stars? The Jazz might need a different voice in the locker room and some new supporting players, but the idea of blowing up the core of Gobert and Mitchell is stupid.
Mitchell and Royce for Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey + 2 first round draft picks and 2 swaps.
Sixers get a Big 3 of Mitchell, Embiid and Harden. No brainer for 76ers. Makes them best threesome in East (maybe in league). Mitchell is close to NY but not in NY and on a legit contender.
