That is definitely not a big enough package for Mitchell. Barrett and Randle would be the minimum from NY plus picks. Think of what New Orleans got for Jrue Holiday.
Usually blowouts are not fun to watch and the second half wasn’t that fun as it got sloppy at times, but the second quarter was one of the best quarters in terms of entertainment and effort. As Coach Q likes to say, the ball didn’t stick. It moved. There wasn’t a lot of one on one play or forced...
Gobert really needs to work on his hands. How does someone with such huge hands lose control of the ball so easily? He should be able to catch a basketball like it’s a baseball.
Jazz got cocky on that fast break by trying to be too fancy. Instead of getting the easy two, Royce tries to make the extra, unnecessary pass to Mitchell for DM to do some cool finish and they end up turning the ball over. That was the beginning of the end in this one.
If either is bought out, they would both make a lot of sense for the Jazz (especially Harris) but I would imagine Gary goes to Nuggets and Ross goes to LA or Milwaukee.
On average, he is a more consistent and efficient offensive player than Clarkson. He does everything Clarkson does but better. CJ is also a slightly better defensive player. Definitely not a defensive wiz, but an upgrade. I think more minutes to Danuel House would help solve other perimeter...

Utah should take a big swing and get CJ McCollum. Trade Ingles + Clarkson (+ maybe a pick) for CJ. CJ fills the roles of both guys. He can be the second unit PG when needed, the second unit flamethrower when needed, and the spot starter. He...
If the remainder of Onis contract wasn’t guaranteed, why did the trade him (and send a pick) instead of just waive him? Wouldn’t waiving him not cost them anything?
I get resting players, but resting 8 at once is ridiculous. The Western Conference standings will come down to a game or two max so to purposely give up a game makes no sense. Why not rest 2-3 players max at a time and still give yourself a real chance to win.
Don’t think he did IT dirty as much as he was a realist. He didn’t want to give a huge contract to a 5’7” who had one MVP-like season and it proved to be the right move, as IT never played close to that level again. If anything he screwed over Cleveland by not being clear how serious the hip...
