    Stretch 4 answer.....

With Houston looking to trade PJ Tucker, do Jazz have any way to absorb his salary? He would be perfect (if not better) replacement for Crowder.

    Your New Jazz Back Court

Is Mitchell, Gobert, and Conley better than Gasol, Randolph, and Conley? The latter's best finish was 56 Wins and losing in the conference finals. That also featured a Mike Conley that was 7 years younger. What are Utah's hopes again with Conley that they sacrificed future, hustle, and depth?

Tobias Harris wants to come to utah

I would rather have Randle at $20m than Harris at $30m. Harris is a much traded, good not great player. He does not deserve a max deal.

    Undrafted Free Agent Thread

Naz Reid was at one point projected to be Jazz’s 1st round pick by Nbadraft.net

Stephen A. Claims Jazz are "no contender."

At this point, I think Stephen A is right, but it all depends on how the Jazz fill out their roster. This trade depleted its bench, its heart/toughness, and a bit of its future potential (2 picks + Allen). They will have to find more shooting and more toughness. If they can find a solid...

    Mo Wagner!!!! Go Blue!!!!

    Why settle? Tonight’s draft-buy picks/move up

The Celtics have 3 first round picks-14, 20, 22. I would highly doubt they keep all three. That would be a lot of rookies for a team that will try to compete for a championship. Teams that are trying to get into first round better call Danny Ainge.

Grade the Trade (poll thread only)

“B” Utah gave up 5 players for possible one year rental of 31yo PG. Should have kept Allen or Crowder

News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

As a Wolverine I would be so happy if the Jazz took Mo Wagner. Didn’t they like him from his workout? Trade the current second rounder for Wagner and let him grow into a stretch 4/5

News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

If Kyrie is going to Brooklyn and Russell will be free agent, why did Utah rush to get Conley deal done rather than wait to see about getting Russell as a free agent? The Conley deal would have probably still been there after the draft.

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

Kevin Love would be the only realistic player I would want to get in an exchange for Favors. I don't think Love will be on the block until the deadline though.

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

Favors would probably get a bit less than what Capela got last year, about $15m per year. But less than Capela's 5 years. Favors would probably get 3 year under a similar structure/salary- 3 years $42-45m Clint Capela signed a 5 year / $90,000,000 contract with the Houston Rockets, including...

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

I am sure I am in the minority, but I think I would have rather taken Chris Paul + 1 or 2 1st Round Picks (as was the rumor of Houston trying to shed Paul's deal) than getting Conley and have to surrender 2 first round picks and 3 players. With Paul, even though his contract is massive and he is...

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

DL has a history of making some draft day deals, so maybe he will move up in the draft or get another pick. Fingers crossed... at least to make draft day exciting.

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

Crowder brought so much more than shooting. He brought toughness that no other Jazz player had. Utah need to find a personality to replace that, someone who isn't afraid to get in the face of opponents or teammates. I wanted him as a member of the Jazz when he was in college. He is a total team...

Does Conley have an ETO in his contract or not?

Yes. Player option. Too much for a possible 1 year rental

    Jazz front runner for Conley

Allen and Crowder is too much. Korver + 2 picks + one of those should have been enough, especially given that Conley is on a monster deal, doesn't fit Memphis' direction, and Memphis is about to draft their new future PG in Ja Morant. Crowder was Utah's muscle and heart. Allen was part of Utah's...

    Jazz front runner for Conley

According to Chris Herrington, the first round pick owed to the Grizzlies is protected 1-7 and 15-30 (conveys 8-14) in both 2020 and 2021, protected 1-6 in 2022, 1-3 in 2023, and No. 1 protected in 2024 before converting to two seconds in 2025.

    Julius Randle > D'Angelo Russell

Randall + Darren Collison and pick up Favors. Good summer.

    Jazz front runner for Conley

Conley is basically a 1 Year rental given his opt out. Hopefully they don’t have to give up more than one or two first rounders
