Anyone who was expecting a major impact this year is crazy. Lyles will be a stud in the league once he gets physically stronger. I have a feeling we'll see a huge jump in his game next season as he combines added strength with the experiences he's undergone in practice and in games this year. He...
I think this whole season (and possibly next season) will be a learning process for Lyles. The obvious key for him is getting himself physically bigger/stronger so he doesn't get pushed around so much. Once he does that he'll be golden.
I thought Coach Snyder went with Ingles a little too much tonight. But the Jazz got the win, so no use complaining. Burks is my favorite player on the Jazz besides Rudy, so I always want AB on the court.
Tonight's game against Denver is a MUST win. The Jazz are already on a losing skid, but beating Denver who is ahead of the Jazz in the standings by a slight margin could give them a much needed confidence boost! The Pelicans game was a game they let slip out of their grasp. This is one the Jazz...
I think this sums up the Jazz perfectly right now. Obviously Rudy is THE key to the team's success. As the roster is made up now, there isn't enough. Hayward isn't a true superstar who the Jazz can count on down the stretch of games. Both he and Favors are ideal 2nd option players. It works a...
What a deflating loss. I was so committed to this season and still am, but I will end up in a deep depression if the Jazz continue to lose. Come back, Rudy!
Really, really, really disappointing and discouraging last two games for Hayward. He seemed to have turned it around starting with the Clippers game in LA, but at OKC he bitched out down the stretch then against Kawhi he got completely emasculated.
Rockets have things figured out, at least it seems like that. That is almost as depressing as losing Gobert to injury and dropping all these close games to top teams. The Jazz should still stay afloat in the 7/8 seed race though with Gobert out. Thanks for keeping this thread up to date Stoked...
Hayward lost this game for the Jazz. Brutal defense on the shot to tie in regulation, then the turnover. Brutal in overtime too. I'm starting to think he doesn't have "it". Let Burks be the Jazz closer.
What's going on? You guys haven't gone soft on me just because Rudy got hurt have you? Let's go Jazz! Let's make KD and Westbrook's night a living hell!
It'd be nice to beat OKC just to show them they can do it. I have a sick feeling the Thunder are going to roll over the Jazz though. I hope to God I'm wrong.
That's the silver lining for me. Hopefully the Jazz jump on them right away in the third and get on track. The Jazz are lucky to only be down six. They are gonna need Hood to pick it up badly.
