It truly amazes me how some people can be so certain of what a player is/will be before they’ve ever stepped onto an NBA court. I do admire the conviction.

I don’t think the Jazz are worried about positional need at all right now. This is rebuilding. You take best player available. Chances are 75% of the current roster won’t still be with the team by the time they’re truly competitive again.

The Jazz will trade out of the lottery by sending the 9th pick for a quality role player and everyone on this board will lose their collective minds.

I think he has a no trade clause and a trade kicker, which makes trading him much harder.

Orlando is a funky trade partner for us because they already have another lottery pick at 11. Detroit could be an interesting trade partner if they aren’t enamored with anyone at 5.
