Hollinger's playoff odds in relation to the tank rank

Yeah, but the dice definitely haven't favored the worst teams in the league lately.

If you want to get even more grim, chances are that one of the two all stars will be picked outside of the lottery.

Hollinger's playoff odds in relation to the tank rank

I'd almost rather finish 5 6 or 7. They always seem to move up in the draft. Utah, Chicago, Portland, clippers, bucks, Toronto all Moved up from that range last 10 years.

Does my evaluation matter? If it did, I'd be making several hundred thousand as an NBA talent scout. I don't care to feed the hypetrain with armchair scouting. What I do know is that 70 years of NBA drafts tell me that it is VERY unlikely there are 5 allnba and 3 all stars in this draft.

Uh, yes. Because statistically, over 70 years of drafts, only 1 player is a star in a draft. Why is this draft any different? Why do you insist on picking out individual teams and players? If you look at each draft class as a whole, the talent levels are very similar. Could this be another...

Yes, but we play the majority bad teams twice, they play each other 4 times.

So what happens when MIL plays BOs or CHI? The tankers in the east all have to play each other. We are playing great west teams all trying 4 times. 28 wins is enough for 3.

    Following potential 2014 draftees

The ****? Its more like, in pretty much every draft, there is 1 star (allnba), 2 players that make at least a single allstar game, and a handful of starters. Odds are this draft isn't much different. I'm being generous in saying that there might be 2 stars. Don't know where you pulled your...

28 wins is going to be enough for 2nd or 3rd pick.

Except we wasted a season, potentially traded away assets for nothing to lose more games, and become at risk to have the leave town. Fans don't watch when teams aren't trying.

I think it is pretty clear when I say "these guys" I'm talking about Wiggins down to Smart. That is all anyone is taking about.

And if you draft either one of those and they bust? What then? Oden "fit the bill" for Portland.

Two of those weren't talked about being top picks. More evidence that only 1 or 2 of the top 6 amazing guys are going to pan out.

And does SA even win a chip if they selected Van Horn instead of Duncan? Its still rolling dice.
