He could have got way more then 13 million, he just wanted to stay with the Spurs. Carroll just got 4 years 60 million. We aren't going to give out that kind of money to players that would fight to even start for us.
And who is that player?
Teams are not going to need to do salary dumps in the next couple years like they do now. Everyone will have space once the cap does the huge jump.
Is seems to me this is the PERFECT year for the Jazz to take on a salary dump.
The main reason being we don't NEED to bring in any free agents this year and we will still have a competitive team. It looks like we are going to stand pat in brining in any significant new pieces and i'm...
I think thats absolutely not true. He may not be anything like Green, but he sure as hell isn't anything like Odom. Odom was basically a giant guard, Lyles isn't that at all.
Let me just pull out my spread sheet that keeps track of that kind of thing. Give me a break.
Spencer has connections to the Jazz and upper management/ownership that no other media member in the world has.
People thinking that spencer just made it up don't know the depth of spencers connections. He has nothing to gain by making up rumors.
My only thought is Quin thinks Sap can play the 3/4.
We have been lucky with our draft picks in that range but if you go by the numbers the odds aren't great to get a rotation player as good as Batum.
Put me in the camp that would do this trade and who thinks it would vastly improve our team.
