    Down On the Farm

Concerning our commitment to Butler’s development: I said I’d check back in at about this juncture. I wasn’t going to get pissed before now, but I’m getting pissed now, fwiw. Things are bound to get even worse for Butler if we aren’t going to rest Conley in b2bs.

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Not sure about him being better than Forrest overall. A more disruptive defender? Probably. But Forrest is showing some pretty keen awareness on offense that I never saw from Shaq (regardless of what team he was playing on). For me, the argument isn’t Forrest vs Dunn. Instead, it’s Oni versus...

    Historically Great Offense

I get that. But the top-line summary of why the Suns are a problem for us needs to be about their offense versus our defense: even with Rudy in the paint, they are perfectly build to expose our biggest weaknesses. That’s my point: they can go toe to toe with our best punch and hit us back harder.

    #6 in the MVP race

No mention of him in the ESPN early simulation of mvp voting....unfortunately. And ESPN’s simulation follows pretty much the identical path that the actually voting does, so...

    Trade Mitchell (Include Clarkson)

Clarkson is clearly not forcing things anywhere near the level he was 7 or so games ago. I really appreciate performances like last night in Philly where he was dialed way back and not dominating the flow hardly ever... because we didn't need him to... and I think he recognized that.

Predict our record for this 4-game trip

I'll take this L on my prediction. No problemo. Keep winning. Playing Conley was stupid, though.

    Historically Great Offense

I'm definitely enthralled when the shots are falling. But you'll have to sue me, I guess, because I enjoy watching a gritty defense more than anything else. That's always been the case, so..

    Historically Great Offense

you're crazy about the Suns, bru. If the way they generate their offense doesn't scare a jazz fan, then that jazz fan isn't paying attention, imo.

I love boxing metaphors.... and I would prefer my team not be in the “puncher” position.

Can we talk about how Quin is ride-or-die for Bogdanovic?

All this. I mean, I’m really not sure why this all isn’t obvious to everyone ... and why it isn’t clear that this is precisely why the issue has been raised.

INJURIES: Timberwolves: D'Angelo Russell: out (ankle), Patrick Beverley: out (adductor), Jaylen Nowell: out (back). Russell has given us fits, so.... yay for us? Or, boo because we don’t get a better test?
