Thats what I am saying. He doesn't have any offensive feel for attacking the basket. It was a huge worry because if his shot isn't falling, I don't know if I can trust him attacking a closeout.
I thought they could have went for it since it started as a fast break. I thought it was fine to hold it for the last shot but what he did with it wasn't good.
Yea, even his make wasn't an easy shot. I expected him to be better and blow by guys but he seems to just want to power through guys right now. It might be a case where he gained a bit too much weight and lost some speed as a result.
Your right when it comes to on the court stuff. The character stuff I mostly get from how David Locke talks about Keyonte's attitude and work ethic. Locke has an insider view that I don't have so I'll trust his take that Keyonte is, at least, trying to do things the right way. But just because...
I am not going to weigh in on Keyonte's mental state and whether he is overly immature or not, you're probably right in your assessment but I don't know how to judge those things. What I will say is that he doesn't get to the rim enough and I don't know if he has the skillset to ever get to the...
It's hard to say with Keyonte. I struggle with the fact that even if Keyonte pops this season, that will just put him in the Anfernee Simons tier. That makes it hard for me to get excited about him.
I still believe that Fears will be better than Tre. He is just having a hard time in Summer League and his team situation isn't good. But, I believe the best players can thrive in any situation and I hope Fears can prove to be one of those guys.
He was really active in this game, but he was also given on ball duties in the 2nd half. Not sure how translatable that is to the main team, but he looked good doing it. Maybe he can pop more as an on ball player?
Don't quite know what to take away from this game. Cody played decently, Flip was ok, not quite sure with Collier. Some guy named McGriff was shooting really well.
Didn't see it myself but Larsen reports that Harkless had right wrist soreness and was pulled out.
