Rudy better have accolades to show for the 7 years we built the entire franchise around him. Too bad he never carried us in the playoffs. Ever. Not once. Rudy's best chance of helping this franchise win meaningful playoff series will be through the draft picks we got by trading him.

We're a small market. We can't just let guys leave. Same arguments I used about Wes Matthews and Paul Millsap too. Small markets have to identify stars and then trade assets to build around them.
