I like Kasparas a lot too. Here’s a fun, nifty behind-the-back pass from him: View: https://x.com/imLuckyD/status/1815125770576240930

Well, you could be right of course. Predicting 4 to 5 years ahead is hard though.

Yes, I guess he hopes the Jazz will one day be "a team that moves the ball and has a playmaking point guard."

    The Lauri Thread

Nah, Lauri hasn’t suddenly lost his skills. Not worried about him. Put him on a team that moves the ball and has a playmaking point guard, and he'll do just fine.

Isaiah Collier is an actual NBA point guard

I think he does pretty well with playmaking for a rookie. And read my post again. The word "potential" in it. And yeah, rookies play like rookies.

Isaiah Collier is an actual NBA point guard

I like Collier because of his potential. Good playmakers are so hard to find. Hope we're patient with him.

I'm pretty sure Hardy decided to call the timeout at the point when he saw Sexton going sideways with Rui in front of him. I mean I don't think he would've done it after Sexton had already passed Rui (that's when we heard the whistle). But whatever, a nice L for the draft.

Great result. Losses like this can make the difference between us snagging a stud or missing out on draft night. As for Hardy’s timeout, I wouldn’t make a big deal of it. He saw Sexton dribbling and going sideways with Rui in front of him and Davis at the rim and made a quick decision. And...

This is a pretty fascinating draft. One of the most exciting drafts I’ve ever followed. Egor Demin has been my guy for a while now. Special talent no doubt. At the moment, my top 3 are Flagg, Demin, and Harper (in no particular order).

    2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

I want us to move Sexton simply because I don’t see him on our next contending team. Plus, he, along with Clarkson and Collins, threatens our tank. Lots of games left. And tanking for the top guys in the draft will heat up after the trade deadline. We finally have an opportunity to draft a stud...

Let's hope so. Our tank needs to be in the best shape possible for the frantic tank battles down the stretch (after the trade deadline).

Sure. It's easier said than done to trade any of these players, except Kessler perhaps. Danny probably tried it in the offseason. But I'm pretty sure he'll be at it again before the trade deadline.

I hope Danny has similar lists prepared. Given the quality of the 2025 draft, the tank battle after the trade deadline will be fierce.

Well, we know he’s not an iso player (although it seems like he’s working on it this year), but he would obviously get more field goal attempts if he played on a team that had good playmakers and moved the ball.
