Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

one would hope and today we've seen clips of people shutting the rumors down, etc, but get him here. i know he has until monday, but if we're all good and he's that excited to be here, what's the hold up.

St. John's RJ Luis Jr. has agreed to a two-way contract

i like the luis signing, but i was never a fan of the 43/33/74 shooting splits for a junior star. but is tough and rebounds his position.

Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

yikes. that's actually a little disturbing. at least they are legit professionals, but still. the lesson: omar sucks

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

and the defenses he was playing against. incredible. 46% from three on 8 attempts a game against that level of defense. sheesh. what a stretch.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

first think i hear him say "kj can do everything clayton can do". lol. i mean, guess he can throw the ball at the hoop just like clayton. okay, so it doesn't go in nearly as often, but technically he is capable of the action.

    7 Footer Signed

    rebound numbers not great either.

Which players are now on the clock ??

nah. he doesn't have key's shot creation skills, playmaking/ball skills or passing ability. he's a better shooter. if Key had juzang's pure shooting with his other offensive skills, he'd be killer on offense.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

you're over shooting this one. clayton isn't a traditional pg of course, but he is absolutely a good and willing passer who played mostly point on the national championship team. he averaged 4+ assists and had a 23% assist rate which is pretty good.

Matthew Murrell: Put some respect on his name!

okay, i'm kidding, but he just agreed to a deal with the jazz and i've been a fan of his since his days at IMG. was up and down at ole miss, but is strong, a good defender, elite vertical athlete and has a beautiful stroke. of four seasons where he played big minutes, he had two really good...

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

this. 100% this. i think both are going to be very good.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

i won't argue with that - i think it's absolutely a possibility. two things - i think collier's improvement is going to be substantial in year two, and i think clayton while naturally a combo guard, has better point skills than most realize. not trying to make a point by saying that, i just...

Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

that's true. monday is the deadline, but they nearly always (may not even need the "nearly" qualifier here) show up by friday or saturday and that's with a normal thursday draft. hence clayton is here. bottom line, after being drafted on wednesday, he should be here.

Utah Jazz Select John Tonje, Pick 53

so hard for the 53rd player drafted to stick, but Tonje was the bpa at that point. excellent pick. they did about as well as they could have. i thought tonje would go mid-40s.

    fair. entirely fair.

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

everybody is entitled to their opinion, but there is next to zero chance, assuming everybody is healthy and no trades, etc, clayton starts the season over collier at point.

Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

bailey seems like a very loyal kid. which could be good for the jazz in the long run assuming he stays that way as he gets older, but perhaps not great as it relates to omar cooper.

Utah Jazz Select John Tonje, Pick 53

he's about 4 years older than sensabaugh. so maybe grandpa sensabaugh.

Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

collier will get him pumped both emotionally (assuming he even needs it, which he very likely doesn't) and by setting him up on the court. they know each other as georgia basketball rivals - he'll be lucky to have IC in camp with him.

Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

sure, but he didn't want to be in utah like nobody wants to be in utah. nothing out of the ordinary. what made this this unusual was omar cooper. no draft prospects, who have never spent time in utah, are sitting there thinking i sure as hell hope i get to go live in utah for at least six...

Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

you're referring to the agent who works with omar. art cummings, the tweeter, is the one who blamed the media looking for clicks.
