Well, I really liked Sexton as a player. Hoped we could get something good for him but alas. I wish Sexton the best, especially when he plays the Jazz. Life goes on.
Is there a move for Kessler on the way? It's really the only way I can see this making sense. Otherwise, just buyout Sexton and save yourself the 2nd round pick.
I don't think we will have to worry about Ace being too passive. I hope he can keep his sky high confidence and aggressiveness with getting his own shot.
Has Key proven that? Subpar efficiency and worst defensive player in the NBA, it doesn't inspire confidence. My question is, if you gave Juzang the same minutes and leash as Keyonte, could he produce similarly or more? I suspect he could.
I thought this bit was funny from Hollinger:
The Suns continue to win at unloading any tradable asset they get their hands on within seconds of it coming into their possession. They got five seconds in the Kevin Durant trade, and have traded all five of them to turn the 52nd pick into picks 31...
Some people do mix those things. It's not the smart move but it happens. I don't blame Ace for not being jaded at 18 when it comes to how people can take advantage of him.
It's a bad thing but maybe not a bad thing. If yall don't mind me psychoanalyzing a bit: His agent is just dumb but Ace himself hired the guy because he knows him and is a family friend (I think? I need to look into it more). That tells me that Ace values personal relationships and is a loyal...
This is interesting! Let's see how far this agent wants to go with this, because Ace is lock in with us unless he wants to sit out a year and try the next draft.
I like the lineup for the most part (shooting and defense as you said) but your putting alot of faith in Bailey being the 2nd creator in that lineup. I suppose it's a bit of a "deep-end" approach but I don't think I can argue against it.
