I think its worth trying at 10%, just has to be a reasonable price. Though Zion being an all-NBA level player for multiple future years is probably closer to 5% and Flagg more likely 35%ish.
I've always wanted pre-scheduled rotation of picks. i.e:
30 teams
6 Groupings of five teams
Your group rotates each year in priority 5->4->3->2->1 if a team is in 5 priority this year in 4 years it will be #1
Groupings rotate similarly- i.e. first 6 picks go to the #1 entry of each group, and...
Yeah, even if they’d lost Mitchell, the pick would still be near the back of the draft- downside of trading with a good team. Luckily we got Lauri/Sexton in the trade, because the picks themselves weren’t worth it.
Edey has surprised me on the down side. He looked probably the most ready of the rookie class in the pre-season and it definitely hasn't worked out that way. It will be interesting if he gets the groove going or not.
Great game, ended up in the lower bowl instead of loge (and yes it's called loge: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/loge) and access to the private dining area with steak/shrimp, so even better.
Wonderful to spend time with family in a fun atmosphere and get the closegame.
Fun to...
Demin has flashes, but he probably could use another year of seasoning. As a BYU fan I'd love that, and with his NIL money it may be palatable for him to want to play a year with AJ and get a lot of overflow attention if his stock drops into the teens this year.
Donte playing as poorly as he was was never going to last- he was worth trading for for a reason. Sometimes fit and familiarity are very important for mid-high players- they have to get comfy before really grooving. Looks like it may be that way for him.
Your ‘elite’ comment is most salient to all this- you don’t trade young NBA talent that have elite skills unless you’re getting elite back or a guaranteed top 3ish pick, even if it’s just a center with limited offensive skills. It’s too hard to acquire elite skills to give it away.
Until Collier is an actual threat to make his shot he will be massively hindered as a playmaker- teams will sag and clog up the passing lanes. His main/only priority is working on making open shots.
