Double salaries from here on out

Well, ain't, it'd depend on what his contract demands would be and what other teams offer. AK will be, what, 30 after the season? If he has a solid, non-injury plagued yr then some team (cough Portland cough) will probably offer him a nice, frontloaded contract.

Double salaries from here on out

Maybe Greg is saying "You know what, what the heck...AK's contract is off the books next yr, there's probably gonna be a lockout...lets let it all hang out, two yrs of paying the luxury tax ain't gonna prevent me from feeding my family". OK, now back to reality...glad i'm not a GM.

    Next years projected lineup

How about Roger Mason? Good shooter and heard the Jazz had shown interest in him. I'd prefer Matt Barnes because he's a better defender even if not as good an outside shooter but, i'd take either one of them.

Deseret News reporting that Miller's approved deal is likely for Big A

We'd have a logjam then at the PF spot...and since Jefferson puts us into the tax I'd be surprised if we signed Harrington. That said, I wouldn't be upset if we get both.

I Agree with Locke- Get Al Harrington

Hopefully. Of course, Orlando is pursuing him also I hear, as are the Nets. He's a NJ native (raised in Orange), and a NYer, but he's already played in Indiana and Oakland and he said in an interview he feels he has 5 good years left and would like to play for a contender, or help a team become one.

Guys I'd rather have than Wesley Matthews

How about Matt Barnes? Edit: re-read and saw him already mentioned. I wouldn't prefer him over Wes but he'd be a good signing, good outside shooter and gritty defender.

I Agree with Locke- Get Al Harrington

Al Harrington's twitter page...look at his response to a fan asking him if he'd enjoy playing with Dwill. https://twitter.com/a7harrington a7harrington @Mosesstone1980 DWill is Cold as Ice. Would be my pleasure to RUN with Him! about 13 hours ago via Twitter for BlackBerry® in reply...

Utah Jazz 'emerging as a suitor' for power forward Udonis Haslem

Jazz supposedly made an attempt to get Josh Childress (as did the Spurs) but PHX got him (along with Turkoglu) in a 4 team trade. I woulda liked Childress on the Jazz. Haslem is meh, sounds like he's getting more than he's worth but then again so are a ton of others.

Boozer Agrees to Terms With Bulls (5 yrs/80 mil)

I like Tyrus Thomas's upside. Wouldn't mind if the Jazz gave him a shot, if the price is right.

Bleacher rport power rankings: Utah 16th

Yet he ranks us ahead of only 14 teams which is less than half....yawn, bleacherreport, where even modern day math is disregarded.

Building around Williams was a mistake, time to move on

If what you say in your post is true, why would a team trade us an elite big or sg in exchange for an elite PG to build around since it's a mistake to do so?

Boozer Agrees to Terms With Bulls (5 yrs/80 mil)

Would Al Harrington be a decent replacement? I never liked the guy but allegedly the Jazz are interested, and he's always been a 17-20 ppg scorer in his career.

"The Letter" that makes "The Promise" Cleveland on Lebron

Yeah, and now when he goes back to play the Cavs and the fans there act uncivilized, we'll lose our title as the nastiest fans in the NBA!! ****ITY **** ****! Honz, Durant's shoe couldn't hold Dwill's jock

    Mark Jackson

"The Letter" that makes "The Promise" Cleveland on Lebron

He said in his own way basically what all Cavs fans are thinking, except he's the owner so you wouldn't expect him to say it . It's a free country...but, i'm sure Stern is gonna slap him with a fine.

    Jazz eyeing Al Harrington

Is Harrington under contract with NY or a free agent? As for his numbers, he averaged 17.7 ppg last yr, 20.6 the yr before. Thing is he's never been on a team where he actually had to play within a structured offense, but if he's actually willing to consider us than obviously he has to be aware...

    Matthews meeting with Blazers!

Jazz already are likely letting Korver walk..i don't see them allowing Wes to get away also, but knowing Portland they'll do what they did last yr just to make us pay more than we'd originally intended to.

    Hilarious Quote From Boozer

Well, i do think having Noah behind him will help, as he's a better defensive center than what we've put out there. Do they still have Tyrus Thomas? He's a pretty good shotblocker but if memory serves he was traded..
