I think they are trying to unload Jefferson + Biedrins to sign Dwight outright. If Dwight chooses Houston or L.A., they still have cap room to sign Igoudala and they still have Bogut at center. They're worried that they'll clear cap space (Bogut), lose Howard and be stuck without a starting center.

I would love to have Andre Miller on the Jazz if it costs us nothing more than a 2nd round pick. That would be a very good fit, someone who could split minutes with Burke and mentor him as well.

I'm not thrilled with the decision to chase OJ, but if we front load the deal ($12 million up front) and average the next 2-3 years at $6 million I could live with it. It's not as much that I don't think OJ's a good fit, it's more the fact that he'll take the bulk of the minutes at SG.

If the front office's goal is to tank next season and we need to spend $24 million dollars they should offer 1 year/$8 million deals to 3 MLE level talents. Offer that to Jack, Korver & a 3rd big (Hickson?). That allows us to retain our cap space to offer extensions next fall, and we don't get...

Hopefully this pushes Jazz management to resign DeMarre to a reasonable deal, something along the lines of 3 years/$10 million. Given our current roster, our oldest player available for opening day would be Jeremy Evans. That's pretty crazy.

I would strongly consider Robinson for the 21st pick. I would rather pay $3.6 million to a guy like Thomas Robinson than Elton Brand or Jason Maxiell who Ty would almost assuredly play in front of Derrick or Enes. I don't think anyone that will still be available at 21 has more potential than TR.

Would you guys take one season of Shawn Marion $9.3m if Dallas gave us their #13 plus a lottery protected 1st in '15 or '16? I would love it at face value but I know Corbin would play Marion 38 minutes a night.
