    My dream draft:

Nope. I'm just a realist. It is not likely that the Jazz are going to move up into the top 3 of the draft with their own draft pick (#12 overall). I was simply looking at from a best-player-available POV. And how do you know that it will be a "waste" of a draft pick, as you call it? Aren't...

    My dream draft:

Let's see. SG: Gordon Hayward vs. Thabo Sefolosha Um, Gordon by a mile. SF: Derrick Williams vs. Kevin Durant Right now, Durant. In the future? Probably a push. PF: Derrick Favors vs. Serge Ibaka Derrick Favors has the potential to be an all-league player. Ibaka? Not so much.

    My dream draft:

We would be right there with them. Derrick Favors is more athletic than Chris Bosh. Derrick Williams has unbelievable athletic potential. He might be up there with Lebron. Right now, Wade is probably more athletic than Hayward, but I think that Gordon has the potential to be a star player in the...

    My dream draft:

That is what I was getting at. If the Jazz do end up with that 12th pick and Jimmer is there, is there any way we don't take him? I don't want the Jazz to draft Fredette with their NJ pick. However, I would die if we got Derrick Williams. Put him with Hayward and Favors and we might just have...

    My dream draft:

Jazz move into the top 3 with the NJ pick and draft Derrick Williams to replace AK. The Jazz then use the #12 overall pick on Jimmer. We then go with this depth chart: PG: Devin Harris, Jimmer Fredette, Earl Watson SG: Gordon Hayward, C.J. Miles, Jimmer Fredette SF: Derrick Williams/Paul...

Whats the lowest draft pick they could get?

Actually, that's not accurate. The lowest the Jazz's first lottery pick could theoretically be would be 9th overall, as 3 teams could possibly jump ahead of them. The lottery is for the top 3 spots in the draft, not just the top 2. The New Jersey pick will either be in the top 3 or it will be...

With the number 6 pick, the Utah Jazz select:

Here's a question: what if Fredette shoots up the draft board after the NBA Draft Combine and individual workouts with teams? Would people then consider taking him with the 6th pick (or whatever it ends up being) if he is available?

    2011 draft.....

No bigger circus than when Derrick Rose, who is from Chicago, was drafted by the Bulls or when LeBron, who is from Akron, Ohio, was drafted straight out of high school by the Cavaliers. He would be a player that literally the entire state could rally behind. Something like this would be...

When do player workouts start for the draft?

Do they start before or after the lottery? I can't remember which.

The Fakers are going down in flames.

Bye, Bye LA! Get out the brooms!

The Fakers are going down in flames.

Actually, it says "DALLAS" on their jerseys. Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

The Fakers are going down in flames.

Well, it looks pretty like that they won't be making much money this season.

    2011 draft.....

I know, right. Personally, I think that we are a starting point guard away from contention. I personally think that 4 out of our 5 starters are set (SG: Hayward, SF: Millsap, PF: Favors, C: Jefferson). I personally don't understand the Millsap and Jefferson hate. The Jazz BEAT the Lakers IN LA...

The Fakers are going down in flames.

They have got to be the most arrogant fans on earth. Well, them and the Yankees. They are 1 and 1A. Anyway, if they can't beat Dallas at home, there is NO WAY that they are going to beat them IN Dallas. I'm feeling a Mavericks sweep.

The Fakers are going down in flames.

Dallas is simply better. They are probably going to sweep Kobe and Co. right out o' the playoffs! Go Mavericks!

    Best thing about tonight?

    Amen to that, man.

Proposed rule change that needs to happen.

This would also not be an unprecedented rule, as Major League Soccer does the exact same thing. Think of the last playoff spot as being like a Wild Card.

Proposed rule change that needs to happen.

No. Simply replace the Pacers with Rockets in the last Eastern Conference Playoff spot. I would also change the first round of the playoffs back to 5 games. This would eliminate any travel problems that could arise, as the teams involved would only have to possibly travel cross country twice...

Proposed rule change that needs to happen.

It is an absolute disgrace that a team like the Indiana Pacers, who finished at 37-45 (actually WORSE than the Jazz) makes the playoffs when there are teams in the NBA that don't make the playoffs with winning records. Case in point: the Houston Rockets, who finished 43-39 and didn't make the...

    Best thing about tonight?

Oh yeah. That's right. Kirilenko hasn't played in so long that I have pretty much forgotten that he is even on the team. I would be open to re-signing him at the right price, however. By right price, I mean way less than right now.
