I also think it's normal and natural for interest level/engagement to vary over time. I think we see that with posters who come and go or become more or less active on here.
For me I started getting really interested in the Jazz as a teenager, but I had a ton of diversions and interests so the...
Like I said in my post, me having less interest doesn't have to do with us being bad. I've really gotten in to the draft and I'm excited to see the young guys play. I understood the teardown/rebuild and while I don't agree it's 100% the best thing we could have done, I do still think it was...
It wouldn't really affect nationally televised games, so it really only affects local TV deals. I don't understand fully all of the issues, but I know that local TV deals are one of the biggest points of friction in the NBA and cause most of the uneveness among teams. I wonder if at some point...
Feel free to start a poll whenever you think is better timing. This is relevant to how I'm feeling and interested in what others are feeling currently. There are options for different scenarios that could raise your interest.
I voted less interest than normal and not likely to regain the same level of interest, but it's not because I'm upset about anything. I am hoping that I am just maturing and realizing that being a super fan is not the best use of my time. I think/hope that I am starting to gain some wisdom as...
I thought he showed some flashes his rookie year. He's had some injury stuff that might have been holding him back. I'm not super interested, but mildly interested in giving him a flier.
I mostly feel the same, but Tonje did just complete the annual Jr Jazz tour meaning he spent weeks on the road in rural Utah dealing with elementary aged kids. He earned the two way contract.
If we find someone we like better at some point in the season we can always cut Tonje and sign them.
During Pau's 3 all star years in LA he averaged about 3 assists per game. That's good for a big man, but it's not like they were running the offense through him. He made 2 total 3's during that 3 year stretch and made 90% of his shots within 16ft of the basket (80% within 10 feet of the...
Eh, I'll admit to not giving it too much thought, but I don't love the Pau/Zo pairing. There is also a lack of spacing and limited play making. It's not bad and it's almost impossible to make a bad team around Jordan, but I've seen better ones over the years.
It's difficult to imagine Jordan losing in a situation like this when we never saw him lose a finals in real life. I don't love the team that was built around Jordan this year, but it's also a stretch to imagine Jordan's team not winning.
