Hendricks has a chance to make a lot of lineups work if he can really space the floor and be a guy that can cover up for others on defense. I just don't think it's fair to expect anything from him to start the year.

It's mostly difficult for me to put together lineups that can work because we only have two players that I have any confidence in defending guards on the perimeter (Harkless and Anderson), and I don't think either player gets close to starter minutes this year.

I do think Flip might be the most ready of our rookie contract guys to play meaningful NBA minutes, but I'm not sure you can play him and Lauri together defensively? If Hardy is trying to win games he might also limit Ace's role/minutes. I do agree though that Hardy knows where we are at as a franchise and while he might not have a strict mandate to give anyone minutes, he'll still likely be giving lots of development minutes.
