2025 Annual All Time Draft Finals Team 10 vs Team 13

I'm imagining that team 13 is starting Draymond Green and Devin Booker, and West is your super 6th man. I think I like that team better.

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

At least on the Game Theory podcast they talked about him as someone who was available, not that they are trying to move him. That makes more sense to me, and I'm inclined to believe that the messaging has been muddied from available to not wanting him. If the Kings really are trying to move...

    Eurobasket 2025

I've heard that name, I think maybe he's looking at going to Indiana University? Has he declared?

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

They actually brought Tari up on the pod and thought he was going to get an extension soon. I love Eason, but don't think he's available.

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

Read the title, this is going off of the game theory podcast definition which was explained as guys traded on their rookie contract. (FWIW, I get why he is different, and not really applicable to anything the Jazz are trying to do.)

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

I almost forgot that SGA is technically a second draft player. So basically the entire NBA finals was dominated by second draft guys.

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

I think GG has a lot of potential, but based on summer league (which is almost worthless) he didn't look like he has improved much since his rookie year. I'm one of the main proponents of you shouldn't take much away from summer league, but I'm definitely lower on GG than I have been.

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

They mention Walker on the Pod, but think he is going to have a lot of opportunity in Indiana this year, and I tend to agree. Dieng is a very interesting name. He is good at a lot of things, and has shown some real flashes when he's given time. It feels like he is missing an elite skill that...

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

Ivey might have the most upside though. I 99% agree, but there is a small part of me thinking that he could break out this year. He's the exact opposite type of player we need though.

Lauri for George rumors heating up.

This thread is pretty trollish. I guess it's slow, so maybe it's OK to bring up the idea and get some reactions, but to say things are heating up...

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

Probably not, but maybe it could be helpful to swap rookie contract guys. Anthony Black is the guy who I like the most on this list. Getting a guy who can play perimeter defender with some hope that he can develop more could be a good idea if the price is right

Lauri for George rumors heating up.

Yes, but if 3 random people have the same trade idea, then it's inevitable.

Second Draft Trade Targets (Game Theory Podcast Definition)

I was listening to the game theory podcast* and it was actually pretty interesting. They were discussing trade targets and specifically guys who are still on their rookie deals in what they were calling, "second draft" guys. I've heard that term used differently, but for the sake of this...

How Many Basketball Hoops are in Your Neighborhood?

In all sincerity good for you, that sounds pretty great. FWIW, the few people I know who have basketball courts in their homes are really great people. It's just hard for me to fathom being able to afford something like that. I just looked it up and I make well above the middle class income...

Which Young Player Will Have the Largest Improvement Next Season?

I'm expecting him to look lost and very uncomfortable on the court and playing at NBA speeds. I would also not blame him for looking hesitant after the type of injury he had. His injury was pretty horrific.

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Very good news for Keandre, but very bad news for the rest of us. He was hired on as a scout for an NBA team and won't be doing hoop collective anymore. View: https://youtu.be/8kDXMS-CcBQ?si=CKHaCOFaZ8IFqOAt

How Many Basketball Hoops are in Your Neighborhood?

Do you really call "hoops" "rings" down under? Now I know what it feels like for English people to hear us call their "football" "soccer"

Which Young Player Will Have the Largest Improvement Next Season?

There is a difference between hoping/ thinking something is possible vs expecting something to happen. I don't think it's fair to Hendricks to expect him to be improved.

How Many Basketball Hoops are in Your Neighborhood?

Going off of memory from the places I've lived and based off of driving through relatively similar middle class neighborhoods: - Michigan - 1 out of 10 houses - Ohio - 2 out of 10 houses - California - 1 out of 10 houses - Colorado - 2 out of 10 houses - Utah - 3 out of 10 houses - Indiana - 4...

How Many Basketball Hoops are in Your Neighborhood?

Having a basketball court in your house does seem a little excessive, not saying I wouldn't love to have it. I know a few people here that have an indoor court in their house and it makes me roll my eyes a little when I hear about it. I mean, good for them though.
