If DM had even a slight bit of interest in playing defense in the playoffs of the 20-21 season. It would have been tough to beat Phoenix but that version of our team usually played well against Milwaukee.
Idk if DM playing defense meets the realistic qualifier though.
If Quickly is so amazing that the Jazz should be trading multiple picks for him and signing him to a big contract, why is he only getting 24 mpg and why would the Knicks entertain trading him?
I don't follow the Knicks so this is a real question. Is it just because they already have Brunson and...
I don't think any of these recent reports are convincing me that we are going to trade Lauri. It feels more like other teams are trying to artificially plant the idea in the Jazz's heads Inception-style.
I don't understand why it's a bad outcome to take the #9 guy on your board with pick #9. I guess there's an expectation that someone is going to fall past the pick you had them rated as? It seems foolish to me to operate assuming another team will make a mistake.
What draft spot does it start...
Why do we need to get rid of him just because he hasn't started the season well? It's not like he has a big contract that's crippling the team and there's no reports of a locker room problem. And even if the non-shooting defense first center player type isn't as useful as it once was, he's the...
Last year, nba.com had Lauri as #5 in terms of lowest fg% allowed while defending within 6ft of the basket. It doesn't appear that the stats are up to date for this season yet (I didn't see any Jazz players listed at all for this season on the defense dashboard) but anecdotally it seems like...
Ridiculous. They shouldn't be able to black you out from multiple teams. I've never bothered with the VPN, I just accept that I'm going to miss the 4 Jazz-Blazers games or I listen to the radio broadcast. Missing 10-12 games is another story though.
League pass is ridiculous with the "local" blackouts. I live in Seattle and can't watch Portland games through league pass because it's the "local" team.
Tony Jones had an article in the athletic today about the "who will start at point guard?" question. Not much new info for the dedicated fan, he was going over the pros and cons for each player and it was mostly the same things that have been discussed in this thread. The main thing I thought...
I don't think the Jazz are too good for Brown, I think this is a bad contract. If I offer you a Mercedes-Benz but with the payments of a Lamborghini does declining mean you think you're too good for the Benz?
This is not just for the Jazz but for any team in the league. The supermax is a bad...
Embiid hasn't gone any further in the playoffs than DM and Gobert did, in a weaker conference. Plus the idea of trading for both Embiid and Dame is a pipe dream. It would take every single pick we got from Minnesota and Cleveland plus some of our own for Philadelphia to give up Embiid.
