I am liking Demin more and more. He has a pretty high ceiling. Great measurables, he seems to be a hard worker. I do NOT think he is a PG but I think he can help initiate the offense out of the wing. I think he could be great at PnR. He is a little bit of a unicorn in his ability to do some stuff.

I have been watching some Will Riley tape and I was surprised to find he had a 32" vert not great but ok. He hardly gets off the ground in game. His vert is not game usable.

It is interesting how many of these players have good year ones then seem to disappear. They move back into role player positions. Very few ever become stars.

I will admit it is disconcerting but I believe he has the attitude to get better. If he was a finished product yes but I think he is willing to work.

I am of the opinion that we get the measurements without shoes to make sure players arent inflating their height with inserts. However, the game is played in shoes and it is not unheard of to add 3/4" when playing. Some shoes can add even more. That is why I don't quibble with Tre being listed...

If anything he is 6'5". He measured 6'4 3/4" that is easily justifable 6'5". Add in the shoes and he can be listed at 6'6" with a round up of half an inch or less.

A lot of how I like to rate my picks is mental makeup. I do not like the mental make up of Ace. I think he is drinking his own bath water too much. Some has to do with prejudice from skinny wings (still trying to believe in williams) It will be hard to find a franchise player at 5.

Because we are giving #5 it is a fair deal. To move back 3 spots and still get Markkanen is a hell of a deal for SAS. They would have Fox Castle Vessel Markkanen Wemby That is a great starting 5. They would still have sochan, Paul and mamu off the bench. Add the #5 PICK let's say tre or Ace...

This is a mixed bag because my gut says Tre, but the Jazz need someone willing to play defense, and I think VJ is the safer pick.
