Statistical gimmie would be to say that they should win the TO battle and FB points and we are gonna win OREB and 2CP columns.. If the margins are similar on those areas then this comes down more to which team scores more efficiently in regular half-court offense, and there advantage should be...
Last season we split both home and away series against them, Two losses came by 2 points, and one win came in OT while the outlier was us blowing them out by 42 points. So I expect a close game.
I haven't watched Blazers much this year but at least in theory Yang provides them with some extra...
Yeah one of the oldest was hyperbole based on a fact check (we were middle of the pack), but our top 4 players that year in terms of winning impact were probaly Lauri, KO, JC and Conley. You could argue Sexton over JC, but that year JC was really good.
So not at all comparable. If these guys in...
Keyontes low 3p% is not a problem at his volumes, until defenders start going under screens or leaving him open.
Somehow that hasnt happened despite all the advanced analytics and math based scoring models teams use.
That happened with one of the oldest rosters in the NBA with near zero prospects for the long term. Implying these situations are somehow similar is more than foolish.
Is he the new Fontecchio? A guy who Hardy fits into a great role thus giving him a real NBA career instead of them becoming perennial end-of-bench / back-to-Europe players.
Tech has a bigger role in his NT, but Svi is also 17+ PPG guy for Ukraine in last 3 events they played in (2022...
In 2022-23 Danny Ainge had a choice of direction in January. He could have given that scrappy .500 team reinforcements to get them in playoffs which may have also sabotaged Minny (we could have finished above them and not give them help with Conley).
There are signs that similar choices may be...
Ace has looked like he is processing stuff out there, which is the opposite of what he should do. Hardy needs to get hm to play his game whatever mistakes may come with that and leave the processing to film room and practice court.
NBA speed is merciless and the only way to keep up pace is to...
Man Keyonte has played 3 halves of great basketball and you choose to grade him based on the 1 half where he didnt.
You are so glued to that shtick you cant even acknowledge clear and obvious progress that literally every other human being can see,
I dont know what to take away from this game without overreacting. We looked so good moving the ball and we got practice shots all game while actually forcing Clippers to take much tougher shots.
One reason for this blowout was for sure the Clippers being somewhat unserious with their approach...
Are you saying NBA GMs dont make idiotic moves?
Those idiots existing is the logic Danny used for pricing his trade chips. Now his son is betting on them not existing by waiting on the Kessler deal.
Yeah I dont get this "wait it out" approach. System fit is also the dumbest argument when you dont know what the NBA will look like in 3 years time and thus the system may change.
Like if they abolish the 3pt line then Kessler becomes a god (joke, but the principke applies).
Bottom line is...
To be fair ANY player looks better when the ball is passed around... but I get what you are saying. Lauri turns into a force multiplier on offense when the offense flows and the ball doesnt stop.
I feel like these lists are always too much influenced by name recognition and fan appeasing.
Walker was our best player last year and even if we could shrug off Lauri's year as "down year" I dont think anyone can argue that Kesslers year was an anomaly rather than progress.
