Lakers sagged off him and dared him to shoot- and he wouldn't. That is going to be an ongoing problem for him, especially when Lauri isn't on the floor helping w/spacing.

Well yeah, we have exactly one anchor offensively. Its very rag tag after that- Keyonte can create, but hasn't really established any gravity yet to create advantages for the rest of the team.

Anderson just goofy and cooked- he needs zero minutes.

    Svi's Development is Important

I'm going to eventually trust coach Hardy's judgement on these things- as I've said elsewhere he must be seeing stuff in practice re:Svi to start him- same him having faith in Key- he seems to have the right eye that the poor percentages we were seeing in games was eventually going to give way...

We're already firmly playoff team w/Kessler if this start from Key and the other youngins is real.

Worked to Jazz's advantage- it would have been a common foul instead of a 4pter.

Love seeing Collier start living up to his physical talent level.

    Following Potential 2026 Draftees

AJ seems to want to be a good teammate. He turns it on when the team needs someone to, so I’m not worried about it just yet. If he keeps on defferring too much in tight leauge games I’ll start thinking its a problem…

Isiah Collier Hype and Appreciation Thread

Keyonte right now is eating up a lot of that. Luckily it'll be a while before Clayton needs paid. I'm assuming one of the three gets traded eventually since I think they'll all be decent pieces worth what they'll get paid and we'll have to get someone cheaper (a future draft pick assumably) to...

Isiah Collier Hype and Appreciation Thread

I was starting to doubt a bit because he should have been blasting the other players off the court in summer league and just didn't look good and his shot looked even worse than last year- like the opposite of Keyonte as far as progressing in the off-season. Now those concerns are alleviated...

This is going to be the deepest/best draft of all time.

When Should the Jazz Stop Tanking?

He can be really good w/o it regardless if he keeps up the FTs. Just saying if he can add in the 3pt % too that becomes a whole 'nother level.

When Should the Jazz Stop Tanking?

It hasn't been horrific, but he still is awful fighting through screens. I'm more concerned his 3pt percentage is in the toilet. If he can get that to a reasonable level he can start looking like Harden lite.

Walker Kessler out for the year

Impressive he was shooting so well with the tear, and explains why he wasn’t quite as aggressive going after some of the rebounds.

Which of the Jazz's young players are most likely to be on the team in 3 years?

The most important part of that for Flip is that he was decent on the Defensive end.

The problem with this is Hardy identified the problem we all saw with our own eyes- regardless of what he’s done in the past, he wasn’t at all wrong in identifying the problem on the court- he wasn’t pulling anything out of his nether regions…

Eh, I think Hardy has a tough job. The absolute zero effort on defense that we’ve seen shouldn’t ever be acceptable- he’s also responsible for developing good habits in these young players and basic accountability will need to be part of the teams culture if we ever want to be a championship team.
