This has to be one of the best halves from the Jazz this year. Extremely well played.

Washington and Brooklyn both win. I'm not 100% sure it was a good thing.

I never imagined Walt being a reluctant shooter from 3.

Keyonte's shot has been very short, he's probably still not at full strength still. At least he's not trying to do too much and turning the ball over. Ace looking great again. I love the quick pass to Nurk and the big 3 over Durant.

The Jazz need to help out LAC fast. It's crazy how much the league underrated Powell.

Yeah, I'm pretty much on board with almost everything here, maybe not quite too the degree you would want, but we are close. I would probably draw my line at things that could derail Lauri's all star bid (because I'm sure it's important to him, it's not to me) or things that would derail...

We weren't going to start sitting players on opening night, so we win that Clipper's game regardless. We easily could have lost to Phoenix by playing Lauri less minutes. We definitely could have lost to Boston. We beat Indiana by 30, so I think we probably win that one no matter what. We...

I'm really missing Keandre (Hoop Intellect) right now. Does anybody know of anyone who is doing anything similar? I'm looking for quick video guided analysis of strengths and weaknesses.

At some point there is a line between we've done everything we can to lose as many games as possible, and we went too far. For example, for me I was ok with Lauri sitting games against bad teams last year, but thought we went too far when we were sitting Kessler as well. The line is probably...

The theory is: - Players care about their per game stats because it helps them get recognition and money. In order to maximize per game stats, players want to play as many minutes as possible. - More minutes = more injuries. - If better measurements of impact were used, like per...

Yes, but there are many times when the game is not in question and the star player will enter the game in the 4th quarter with the only reason that I can think of, which is to maintain per game stats. Then, there is the situation with Lauri this year where our team is not going anywhere and we...

I believe this is the case as well. I think less minutes could only help though.

I guess my thought was that if per game stats weren't important, then it would be in a players best interest to play a more optimal amount of minutes per game. I'm not 100% sure what that optimal number of minutes would be, but let's just say there are 20% more possessions or 20% more distance...

I haven't seen anything that's blown me away. His slow feet hold him back on offense as well where he is routinely blocked around the rim by NBL bigs. I would say the one big hope for him is that he will eventually get much stronger which will improve his inside presence quite a bit.

I'm fine with people having him higher than me, and agree to the point that I can't name 14 players I know are definitely better than Lopez. If got real serious about a big board he would probably be in a big tier of prospects in the 8-25 range that I'm not sure what to do with yet.
