I agree, that's a very good possibility. The insistence on a pick may have been the deal breaker for the Jazz. Again I would have done it but in that case I don't blame them nearly as much if that was the cause for pulling out of the deal.

I can't believe the Jazz discussed Millsap and Burks for Granger and Stephenson. I would have been irate. If the Jazz were presented that deal by the Clippers and didn't take it, they're crazy. I love DMC, and I hope the Jazz resign him this offseason but that's a deal you don't pass on.

I think that's a pretty good estimation. Considering Hibbert got the max, Favors could command 12-13 which is a scary thought. I think he's worth about $10m though. I think Hayward will come in between $8-10m.

I like that comparison to Marc Gasol (but more athletic). I think Gasol is better with the basketball, probably a better passer too, although Kanter is not bad himself. I also think that Kanter will be a perennial all-star, I've been espousing this since the preseason, the dude is a monster.

I'll watch a majority of the games, but I won't be nearly as interested as I would be if Favors & Kanter get more playing time. If I knew those guys were both going to get 25-30 minutes a game, I wouldn't miss a game.

For what it's worth, Bill Riley said he spoke with an NBA source who believes this has a 60% chance of happening. That's a lot higher than I figured. I think the Clippers will hold out in hopes of landing KG and if they can't pry him away from the C's they'll take this deal.

I think the most feasible deal here is Odom + Bledsoe for Millsap + Watson, we could include the GSW pick if needed. Tough choice, but I gave the nod to Detroit over Utah. I think Drummond & Monroe is the only tandem of young bigs that is more promising than Kanter & Favors. Detroit also has a very young Brandon Knight, who could be very good. Harden & Parsons are both VERY good, Houston's future looks bright...
