Yeah, there's not many guys on this roster that can both pass and score... It's basically just Filipowski, lol. Collier, Nurkic, and SloMo need a lot of minutes because they're the only other guys who can pass that well, but they're all non-scoring threats so that's rough too.

Hendricks snapped his leg and put on like 15-25 pounds of muscle. He's put on like 30-40 pounds since his rookie season (which was basically the last time he played), we'll see if he can defend a position other than PF now.

The Jazz's roster is semi awkward because Hendricks, Markkanen, and Filipowski are PFs and Ace will eventually be a PF, but I don't think this is a serious issue long-term as most of these guys will eventually get traded and you can probably have Ace be a really big SF next to Filipowski at PF...

Hendricks just isn't tall or long enough to protect the rim like a center needs to. I would be very surprised if he was anything but a pure PF. Obviously, if he can play center, that would massively improve his future and the Jazz's.

I mean, yes, this is the big question, but Hardy's scheme also minimizes the amount of defensive opportunities that Kessler gets. Hardy has guys help off the three point line to stop ball handlers from getting to the paint and if you do that, your center is not going to matter nearly as much...

Jazz probably aren't interested in Kessler long-term because Hardy won't change his scheme and his scheme minimizes Kessler's player type by stopping players from getting to the rim in general. But they're probably scared of trading him because they don't want to trade him and look stupid...
