He'll likely regress somewhat towards the mean, but he's young enough that a decent piece of this could stick. If he ends the season with averages of 17/8 and over 50 TS% then that's a huge win. Big question is will he ever be an average defender? That would be the bigger win.

This was the perfect game for this season. Competitive enough to make it fun to watch, players stepping up and showing what they can do, and a loss in the end. Cannot get any better than this!!

Jokic is averaging 15.3 boards, just behind Giannis at 16.0. The 12.7 is just his defensive boards where he leads the league. And just under 12 assists per game is nothing to sneeze at from your center. Right now the stats are in Wemby's favor but not overwhelmingly so, as averaging a triple...

Jokic averaging a quiet triple double, and leading the league in both boards and dimes will have something to say about it. But I guess with him, historic seasons have just become ho-hum. Too bad really. But yeah this year watching Wemby and Jokic duke it out will be very entertaining.
