Well, so far Paul George looks to be the biggest factor so far. I feel confident he won't continue to shoot over 70 % from 3 pt range.

At this point its pretty much a given that he was going to be rookie of the month. If he had a year to prepare, he would have won it every month.

With the exception of DJ pushing off on every offensive rebound opportunity and rarely getting called, it wasn't too bad.

I think not having home court takes a lot of pressure off the Jazz. They can lose the first 2 while the players get used to playoff intensity and not have to worry about too much. I think the Jazz can steal 1 of the first 2 and really put the pressure on OKC, and beat OKC possibly in 6 games...

CJ uses his offhand as much as anyone else in the league. Refs were quick to call that against Donovan against the Warriors 2 nights ago. I've never seen it called against McCollum. Granted, I only watch Jazz games, so maybe its just against the Jazz, but that arm extends A LOT.

Well, its tough when Exum gets called for a foul for stonewalling and playing perfect D on Lillard. Honestly, that was one of the worst calls ever imo. Completely cut off Lillard, took away his lane, Had both arms straight in the air, and didn't lean in whatsoever, but Lillard, so foul... Neto...

Snyder did not get outcoached. Jazz played poorly. He can't go out there and make shots. Portland made tough, contested shots, and Jazz couldn't make open 3's which allowed the Blazers to pack the paint, then the refs wouldn't give the Jazz any calls, which I would have been fine with if not for...

Nobody playing well, he feels he needs to force it, and the lane closes off. Also, he gets a few favorable calls, that 6-23 with 17 points turns to 6-20 with 22 points. He will get more calls with time though.

Tough game tonight. Jazz couldn't hit open shots, which made it tough to get anything inside. Blazers made a lot of tough, contested shots, which made things a little easier inside, and the Blazers benefited from home court officiating (a lot imo). It was frustrating to watch.

If said scenario happens, Jazz would be the 5 seed facing OKC on the road, then Houston. Absolute worst case scenario imo.

Would much rather have HC advantage and face GS in the second round though. I think the Jazz can win more games against GS than Houston.

Its dumb that they have division winner as the tiebreaker, when the division means absolutely nothing. Any 4 way tie the Jazz would win, but since they don't count the NO/SA in division, then Portland wins, and they are out of the scenario, so Jazz won't even get the 4 seed in this scenario...

Maybe the best thing the Jazz could do with Burks is to let him sit the next year and let his contract expire. Him, Rubio, Jerebko, Udoh, Sefalosha. Thats a lot of money coming free. Much better FA pool in 2019. Go all out for a big name, and if you don't get a big name, then sign a Mirotic...
