    Jae vs Rod

I'm sure it's just a personal / eye test conclusion, but it didn't seem as if Hood moved the ball like it needed to be in Advantage basketball. Maybe Synder wanted him to play the way he did. Small sample size understood, but it seem like Jae moves it a little better, and is tougher on D.

Lowe: What's real and what's not for the shocking Utah Jazz

I explained what I meant by those words. Find some similes if you like. "Until two weeks ago we seemed poised to dump Favors and acquire Mirotic, arguably a better fit in Quin's system." That's what I was referring to by the common wisdom comment. They've needed a point guard (playing well)...

Lowe: What's real and what's not for the shocking Utah Jazz

I'm not sold on his pessimism regarding the Favs / Gobert combo. I think it works, ESPECIALLY on defense, and you'd have to go a HELL of a long ways -- read: there ain't many -- to find an upgrade to Favors. Not sure if that's laziness (ie, just regurgitating the "common wisdom") or ignorance...

    Is This Team Good?

CBS Sports has us at #4 in its power rankings. That's pretty cool.

    Disregard Mirotic, Aquire Favors!

I don't remember whether it was CJ or Lillard, but in the second half last night, Gobert switched out to the 3 point line to guard him. He drove past Gobert only to run head into Favors. Wanted nothing of it. Drove right toward the free throw line and passed it off. Favors and Gobert...

    Favors next season?

So glad they kept Favs. I love our oversized yet mobile front court. He and Rudy together are so tough to score on, and with Rubio playing well, foget about it.. the offense is rolling.

    Joe Jesus Gratitude Thread...

I wonder if the current win streak changed his mind about leaving. I can't help but be pretty dang optimistic about our chances for making the playoffs. I'm sure management would have traded him anyway without his consent to make the deal fit.

Give me the TL;DR on this season

Rubio is the reason we're winning right now. It all starts with him.

Quotes from the Wizards forums - "Did they cover the spread?"

Must have been written at half-time! Unbelievable game.

    Alec Burks: Redemption

It's so funny to hear everyone say stuff like "now that Favors and Alec are playing so well, let's trade em!" No. We WANT great players, and these guys when healthy (and in Burks case), in their right minds.

What about Joe Johnson? What do we do there? Man, nice problem to have.

Quotes from the Bucks forums - "Can we trade Kidd for this serial killer looking coach?"

"At least we take away their midrange jumpers by giving them better options." That one had me giggling.

This team vs last ... who is better ?

What would you rather have? This year's team, or this year's team with Betraywood and that HUGE, crushing contract we would have had to pay him? I'll take this year's team.

I feel awful for hayward....that leg break...

Face it, come on, be honest. When you saw Ramsey Bolton get eaten by his dogs, part of you was happy that justice was served. You wouldn't do it yourself, but part of you is glad the universe -- or someone over whom you had no influence -- did it for you.

I feel awful for hayward....that leg break...

I would never SEEK karma. I'm not happy it happened. I'm just not especially sad for Betrayward because he happens to be a ball player and it happened on national tv.

I feel awful for hayward....that leg break...

Just being honest about how I feel about what happened. I could lie I guess.

I feel awful for hayward....that leg break...

I'm having a hard time feeling bad for him. He's put in a lot of work into his craft, but a lot of that was funded by Utah. He was an ingrate, no question about it. His life isn't over. His quality of life will be sufficient to lead a completely normal life, and if he never plays another...

    Royce O'Neale Over Bolomboy

Think we're going to regret this. Bolomboy got after it.
