    Warriors Fans...

Fans of theirs have been sold somehow that they will be giving the Jazz a pick "between 15-25" next season...poor suckers...

Marc Stein: Jazz-Warriors discuss pre-Lottery trade (Source says trade "likely")

Between this thread and the Warriors fan board saying "If we get the pick this year, we'll be giving the Jazz a pick between 15 and 25 next year" it's no wonder why message boards have the reputation they do...But obviously I'm still reading...

Marc Stein: Jazz-Warriors discuss pre-Lottery trade (Source says trade "likely")

The Warriors sitting in the 10th slot next year with no protection at least gives the Jazz a chance at a top 3 pick - something they have no opportunity of with the current protections...just throwing that out there...

Marc Stein: Jazz-Warriors discuss pre-Lottery trade (Source says trade "likely")

This is Locke's idea, not mine: If they Jazz have the protections taken off for next year and *only* get cash, the cash can be used to buy any pick between 15-25 - which is better than the 30 or 35 that is being discussed...

    ya'll still want Lowry?

Now I can see why Locke told me he'd heard that Lowry was, "a questionable dude"...

LHM group buying 1280 the zone (ending lease with 1320)

I am rejoicing the takeover of 1280 - I have been complaining about 1320's signal since the Jazz left 570. Cache Valley residents will finally get the Jazz radio network back...I quit listening to 1280 altogether when I discovered 700 AM - I was forced to look around rather than put up with the...

    Following potential 2012 draftees

I'm in the camp that says wait until we know if the GSW pick is ours or not - If the Jazz have #8, Kanter, (Millsap, Al, or Devin) and we're able to take back a bad contract i.e. Tyrus Thomas - Wouldn't Charlotte listen for Anthony Davis? I see Kanter as an asset amongst many such as the GSW...

This could be the trade that the Jazz very easily throw Raja into...

    Following potential 2012 draftees

They would take it if we threw in Kanter and took back Ty Thomas with the TPE.

    Following potential 2012 draftees

I asked Locke yesterday about this exact trade scenario, he replied back to me that while it is a real possibility, he has heard more and more that Lowry is "a questionable dude."

    Another Al trade

I asked Locke via email how reasonable a Jefferson for Lowry/Budinger/draft pick trade was - He responded back, "Real possibility but Lowry is a questionable dude the more I ask around."

Could Raja go to the Clippers?

The Clippers losing Billups doesn't mean they are trading to replace him, it just means that they play more Foye and Mo Williams instead of having them on the trade block...

Jazz acquire DeMarre Carroll from Denver

Josh Howard can't be traded until March 1 - But he and Miles are the most likely trade assets the Jazz have because they are on expiring contracts. The trade exception I can't see them using until the draft. I am still racking my brain as to what kind of market can be strung up for Devin Harris...

    Following potential 2012 draftees

Right now Chad Ford's mock lotto has the Jazz taking Cody Zeller from Indiana, or Brad Beal depending on how the chips fall. He's got the Jazz taking Quincy Miller with the 14th pick. I'd be great with Miller, I love MKG to death. Lots of talk here about Machado, what about Kendall Marshall...

Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

C.J. won't be here much longer, he is the best trade bait that we have (an expiring contract), and I for one wouldn't be surprised if the Jazz use him to reel in a real shooter with a longer contract nearer to the trade deadline
