he's someone who needs to play with better/more creative players to be maximally effective. he can stay within his role much better with the starters as he can't really create offense.
4 of the 5 foul calls on allen were absolutely terrible calls. bad shooting game from him, but he's got to hit more of those open 3s...poor effort by the bench to close the game.
i think he was/is ready offensively; he showed that in preseason and didn't look overwhelmed at all. defense was always going to be his problem and i think he was shellshocked at the amount of early DNPs and limited minutes. between injuries and the lack of PT, it clearly affected his...
lindsey is not going to trade him. he's cheap, fits their culture, and is improving in a short timeframe in a difficult rookie year so far. he's a perfect fit next to donovan if he becomes what he's capable of and what quin/lindsey drafted him for.
i don't even think he's a weak link with how he's played the last 3 games. now if you're saying he's less valuable than the starters and the first few guys off the bench as the team currently is with all the injuries, then i'd agree with that. but weak link? nah. even when his shot isn't...
really liked allen's minutes again. the first half he played really good D which continued into the 4th quarter, but he looked more comfortable offensively in the 2nd half. even as a fan, i'm surprised by how easily he usually gets into the lane. he makes great passes/decisions when the...
that's fair. he's still a rookie who's played in less than half the team's games, and only back for his 3rd game after being out almost a month w/ injury. he already looks a ton better compared to his early games where he was a sieve defensively. he's actually been locking people up, stopping...
surprised at the level of disdain for allen. he had a very good half defensively (and took a semi-dirty elbow from lou williams), got wherever he wanted offensively, made great passes, and missed great shots that he will start to hit. he's at least willing/able to take shots and create offense...
grayson seems to get into the lane pretty easily. he's got great vision kicking to open shooters, but he needs to be more selfish sometimes and take the floater or challenge the big at the rim.
