    Conley Officially a Jazzman

i'm hung up on giving him + 2 firsts. 1 first + him or just 2 firsts and i'm better with it.

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

what a waste of a rookie year/development for grayson, i hope he kills moving forward. he was trending towards being a great offensive punch off the bench. and yet exum is somehow still here. insanity.

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

team is better, but not winning **** with favors as starting PF.

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

terrible trade. why the **** did we not pull this trade in the season and get rid of rubio and exum at the same time? favors is too costly for his contract and exum is ****. WTF?

    Conley Officially a Jazzman

Allen and 2 first rounders? ridiculous. and now stuck with exum. what is this organization's obsession with him? mark my words, allen will be better than exum as early as this season. zero legit guard shooters off the bench (and i don't count royce b/c he doesn't take anything but wide open...

    Jazz front runner for Conley

2 ****ing first rounders and gave up allen instead of exum? WTF?

    Jazz front runner for Conley

    Jazz front runner for Conley

does anyone know who/what is actually being offered?

Well, the good news is Rubio will definitely not be back next year.

rubio is too offensively handicapped to ever lead a team to anything meaningful

neither were first round picks last year but at least bet on themselves and showed some sophomroe improvement. ucla (and the pac-12 in general) was also a dumpster fire this year which didn't help. they lost maybe 1 year of g-league salary; going back to school was worth the risk.

inexact science basically. i don't have evidence that he would've been better than he is now, but another year to at least potentially look better and improve his draft position is what i'm harping on.

younger players who had as poor numbers/performance as simmons did also get worse draft position or go undrafted. the youth/age issue is one of my most hated draft arguments. you're more likely to find a star in the young supremely talented players, but there's also a lot of busts due to this...

if zion stayed until his senior year at duke, he would still be the number 1 pick. talent/ability is still talent/ability at any age, it's just that as a player gets older he can be more scrutinized and can't hold onto potential for his draft stock.

    Jazz Mini-Camp

i don't think that trend is very legit it all, it's just that we've been conditioned in this 1 and done age to think that a player 21 or older can't improve or is somehow less valuable than a 19-20 y/o. if you were talking about a junior or senior simmons, then i would agree, but not a freshman...

You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

it's hilarious to me that grayson is basically considered geriatric on most jazz forums, yet players who are the exact same age (or older) but have the advantage of more nba development/veteran experience time are considered so young to alot of jazz fans. i can't wait to see what he is at age...

    Jazz Mini-Camp

i just gave plenty of examples of "older" or non-freshmen guys getting drafted recently and there's alot more if I included 2nd round guys. simmons would've only been 20 at the time of the 2018 draft if he just waited and (likely) improved his sophomore year. he likely would'e parlayed that...

    Jazz Mini-Camp

there's nothing puzzling about it and it's not cultural for me as well. it's purely about an investment in time of a second college year that he should've used to maximize his potential draft position. this is not me telling zion, rj, or ja morant to go back to school. this is a kid who was...

    Jazz Mini-Camp

delayed gratification/bigger picture dude. he would've definitely been drafted with a better year and more usage at arizona. he's in a field that he can't work in until he's 65 like most regular jobs. was stupid of him to come out early, pure and simple. that 300k (and i don't think it's...

    Jazz Mini-Camp

**** you talking bout? i'm not hating at all, he could've had a big sophomore and/or junior season and actually been drafted and making real nba money rather than bouncing around. if google is correct, between his 2 way contract with memphis and then being waived by cleveland, he's made maybe...
