definitely a player that has become more overrated as the years have passed. soft, lackadaisical, are words that come to mind. while their size, athleticism and skillset are somewhat similar - hence the comparisons - AJ appears to have a much tougher game and a consistent competitive...

23 ppg on 67.5% TS for AJ. He's decent.

i've been wanting more from cain over the years. he's finally producing closer to what i'd hoped. maybe late second guy if he can keep playing well.

mikel brown is a year older than his classmates, turns 20 in april, and has 38/26 shooting splits. if people are thinking top 10 for that, i guess they deserve what they get.

Flemings is special. I don’t know what kind of nba prospect he is, but as a frosh pg in cbb, he’s different. Milos Uzan is an incredible senior PG and Flemings is better - considerably better. And Acuff, some NBA team in need of a PG is going to be extremely fortunate to get that dude.

they suck defensively. that's as good as it gets. they played great. they can't just become a different player over night.

What should the FO do if we are 0.500 by January?

    getting that pick is non-negotiable.

perfect loss. great game from the young players, gave the audience a show and got the needed result. a combined 52 points and 21 assists from the PG tandem.

have a sit down with lauri and let him know he has a thigh contusion that will keep him out the rest of the season. he can sit or be traded, it's up to him, but we are getting a top 8 pick in this draft at all costs - even if we have to break an nba record losing streak. key will also have...

all i know is as of about 4 or 5 games ago, espn mentioned that opponents were shooting a combined 16% FGs while defended by AJ. i guess we can all take from that whatever we want.

he's an excellent defender and just happened to not have any fouls called against him. just a fluke stat.

just looked this guy up - and this isn't directed at you or anybody else for that matter, just that i found it kind of interesting/funny; his previous four games prior to that 47 point outburst: 1-7 FGs, 4 pts vs Kansas 2-4 FGs, 6 pts vs Liberty 1-6 FGs, 3 pts vs UNC Asheville 3-9 FGs, 7 pts...

If the Jazz are better than expected it's because...

key and lauri having their best seasons is of course the number 1 reason, but svi has been better than expected, flip, love and nurkic as well, clayton, ace and collier holding their own. basically, everybody with the exception of sensabaugh and hendricks (maybe Ace as well, tbh), has been...

i thought cenac was better than what he's showing, but honestly, if you want to stand out, houston is often not a great place to showcase oneself. they generally have a lot of veterans, they play at a slower pace, huge emphasis on defense, balanced scoring - just not a lot of opportunities for...

and key is still a year younger with that +1.5% over league average. put them both together, it's not a huge difference but it isn't exactly negligible either.

it seems to me like that argument can and often does work both ways, however. depending on what angle one wants to use (and i genuinely believe you don't have an angle here) it's either easier to score on a good team or easier to score on a bad team. i don't believe either is necessary true...
