I don't have a link. It's been too long, but he refused because it was Utah. Not draft position. He had some quote about it. Weirdly so did Channing Frye...
Everyone on this board seems to have forgotten that Iggy refused to work out for the Jazz coming into the draft and was quoted as saying he wouldn't play in Utah. No thanks.
Wesley Johnson was the 4th pick in last years draft. Probably would be #2 this year. It would definitely take 6 and 12 to get him, throw in Miles to help replace his spot in the rotation. I think Wesley Johnson would be a perfect fit for the Jazz. Great shooter. Defender. Not a one on one type...
Am I the only one who thinks that the Jazz's biggest need in the draft is the wing position? They need a good shooter to compliment Hayward aka GTIME. Jordan Hamilton at 12? Texas was trying to run the Jazz's offense this past year. Would come in a little bit a head of the curve.
I am also one...
Its truly a testament to how bad Brevin Knight and Jason Hart were that Ronnie Price felt like a major upgrade when he overtook the backup PG role from them.
So bummed that G-Time is out. He is one of the few things that still make games a little bit fun to watch. Going to need Favors to be entertaining tonight.
I think its time to admit that the Jazz had a better collection of talent than Deron or the fans gave them credit for. We sometimes like to think that the system made these players good, but Korver especially has showed this isn't the case.
Korver for me is much harder to see on another team...
