Need help! As a jazz fan I' so confused!

That's setting your sights a little low, don't you think? This isn't the 70-80's Jazz. We have since raised our standards. We don't accept mediocrity anymore. If you're going to rebuild then do it properly by using the proven methods. There are plenty of threads about this. You are...

Brian Shaw a viable candidate for next Head Coach?

That's what bugged me about the Corbin hiring. I didn't mind them choosing him, but they should've at least allowed some time for others to throw in their hat. To me, it just seemed impulsive. They said they'd been auditioning him for years. It's too bad the change happened during the...

You people are the most miserable group of sports fans I've ever encountered

Great point. Although, it's getting to that point to where all the injuries and weird decisions are maybe showing that this team isn't ready to go deep in the playoffs. Making the playoffs is a good thing, but I can see why people are starting to wonder if maybe not making the playoffs and...

You people are the most miserable group of sports fans I've ever encountered

Honestly, you can't take any fan too seriously. By definition, a fan is a fanatic. They're going to go to extremes based on how they perceive their team is doing. One person can be fine with how they're doing, while another can go completely ballistic. lol I think it's funny because I used...

    Scott Machado is available

The point is, he is young. He has talent. But if there are other issues then I could see why the Jazz wouldn't want to take a chance since they have good chemistry right now. Does he?

    Scott Machado is available

The "wrongest", eh? Based on what, exactly? Besides, how can you be selfish when you led the NCAA in assists? Seems to me that it's quite the opposite. The Rockets barely even gave him a chance. They played him in 3 real games for a few minutes each game. Also, keep in mind, these are...

    Scott Machado is available

I actually really like JT and EW. I'm just looking at it like the draft: Best Player Available. That means, you can never have too many good players, no matter the position. Mainly, I'm thinking long-term. You bring in a player now, to sit on the bench and learn the system. Then, later...

    Scott Machado is available

That's what I was thinking. They could have an arrangement where Bell's agent can tell them how much the Lakers are going to pay him and then deduct that from the buyout. Then the Jazz honor their contract, even though he never played this season, and Bell keeps the same amount of salary.

    Scott Machado is available

I was looking at this site: https://hoopshype.com/free_agency.htm I saw that Scott Machado was waived by the Rockets in January. I'm pretty sure that was so they could make some moves in February, which they did. Plus, they had 4 point guards, at the time. He's an excellent passer, strong...

    Mo Williams

That depends. If Carroll is on that second unit, then they can really push the tempo. It's a big change of pace from the starting unit. Although, I do like having Favors and Jefferson combo. The danger is that Favors tends to get in early foul trouble when he starts. Who do you think runs...

Millsap, Hayward for Granger, 13' first-round pick?

Granger was a good player, but he's too much of an unknown with his injuries now. Of course, I would do a Marvin + Bell + Murphy for Granger trade. Couldn't hurt, except our cap space. https://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=b6jwuj6 The question is, what are we saving our cap...

    How about Millsap for Derick?

I agree. At least Bledsoe has superior speed that would benefit our fast breaks. Williams, while talented, seems to be stuck between being too big and slow to be a SF while not quite intense enough or tall enough to guard the PF position. Plus, I also don't think he's as intelligent as...

Only in Jazzland does Marvin see time over Carroll

I like DM's hustle a lot better. He's very fast with the ball and on fastbreaks. He actually has a nice jumpshot as well. Marvin has more post moves. Marvin is athletic but almost seems to walk like a man with bad joints. Anyone else notice this? He seems a little stiff out there. He can't...

How well does the Utah local media know about this Jazzfanz website?

I've experienced the same thing. I'm sure that's what the radio show producers do while the hosts chat, at least. I would. I'd pick the topics that have the most views/replies/etc. Easy peezy.

Wow! Jeremy Evans at point would be awesome! They could say no one is allowed on the court that's under 6'9". Also, no dribbling is allowed; only passes. ;)

    Newest Jazz Rumors

Anderson is a good player. Paul is probably more valuable and so they'd have to include a little more to even it out, but I wouldn't mind him on the team. Although, I'd rather have Batum. I think he's as good or better than Hayward.
