    What's the deal with Hayward?

First of all, he has a much better jumpshot than many players in this league. He just needs to believe in it. Secondly, he is a smart player. Smart players either adjust quickly or they over-think things and psyche themselves out, are too hard on themselves and go on a slump. Korver was like...

    Harris Sucks as a PG

My main complaint with Harris was his lack of aggressiveness. He has since fixed that and the team is playing much better because of it. He isn't going to average 10 assists anytime soon but he is making plays when we need them. If he continues this upward progression then I don't mind...

Game #5: Hornets at Jazz, January 2nd 2012, 7:00 PM MST

CJ has talent but he makes silly mistakes when the game is on the line. He gets too impatient and tries to force things (silly fouls, not pump faking on that break away layup/missed dunk, tries difficult shots, passes in midair, etc.)

Game #5: Hornets at Jazz, January 2nd 2012, 7:00 PM MST

Usually, in circumstances like these, you trade them for a 2nd round pick to a team who needs some veteran presence in the locker room. Of course, keep in mind, that's what I see his role being this year for us. Just someone who helps explain things to guys in practice and keeps the younger...

Game #5: Hornets at Jazz, January 2nd 2012, 7:00 PM MST

I agree. He hasn't played much in the last couple years so there's bound to be rust. Usually that's on the offensive side. Although, tonight he seemed a little better. Give him time. He'll become one of the fan favorites.

I find what seems to be Utah/New Orleans but ends up always being Indiana/New Jersey. Conspiracy!! lol

Hmm, any internet streams going? My usual TV is occupied.

A letter from Kevin O Connor

Anyway, back to basketball, this actually makes several great points. It is a bit melodramatic, especially being so early in the season, but still shows some intelligent observations. The rest is just to vent out their frustrations. lol Burks, not getting playing time, baffles me. I could...

    Jefferson out, Millsap starting.

I seem to remember one of the bigs returning to the bench a couple times during the Denver game. My memory isn't what it used to be. I guess that was Jefferson. Although, the announcers made it seem like it was just a muscle cramp or something.

Is anyone here the guy named Rick who called 1320 and dissed locke?

Blues, relax, Rick just wants some attention. I also agree that while it's harder to listen to Locke's play-by-play than Hot Rod, I do still really like all the extras he provides: Have you guys seen his new video tours of opposing teams' arenas/locker rooms? Have you guys seen his...

REMINDER: CJ Miles is only 7 months older than Jeremy Evans.

I do think it's a maturity thing. I also think he's a bit too casual a personality to become really great in this league. The really great players aren't always liked because they're the ones that usually have a hard time relaxing. They're usually really hard on themselves and usually get...

Ideal Lineup (Based on everything up to now)

Wow! That's impressive! Is that from statistics class? Where does one learn such a formula? :)

Ideal Lineup (Based on everything up to now)

It's one of those man-child situations. Although, he's pretty unique. Yes, he's been in the league for several years. However, he's still a big kid in the head. Guys like him take much longer to develop a killer instinct. Some guys have it from the start (Kobe, Deron, etc). That's the real...

Ideal Lineup (Based on everything up to now)

The only reason Tinsley isn't starting is because he wasn't here last year and he missed part of training camp because of the flu. His background isn't as big a deal; especially if his play on the court helps people forget. ;) Hayward is a smart player. Sometimes, smart players can...

Ideal Lineup (Based on everything up to now)

I actually agree with Burks at PG. However, with the 3 veteran PG's we already have, it's not going to happen. We would have to make a trade first to open up the minutes for him. Although, I suspect either later in the year or perhaps maybe next year, he'll be getting more PG minutes. As for...

Ideal Lineup (Based on everything up to now)

I'm not too worried about stats at this point. I'm looking for fearless aggressors who have the talent to go along with it. Burks just makes things happen. He's a SG who isn't afraid to shoot. He isn't afraid to attack their defense. He's usually always moving and providing energy. The 15...

Can Devin Harris run an offense??????

I agree. I think with the right lineup rotation, that we can improve as a team by quite a bit.

;) Although, in this case, needs time as in more baking time. He's not ready to serve yet. lol
