I don't know that its a big splash but something along the lines of adding Herb or Trey maybe. I think they would see it as a failure to miss the playoffs next year.
I wanted to see more because I don't watch HS ball. I am guessing the Jazz FO has enough tape to make the call.
He isn't shutting it down though... at least not yet.
What got my juices going is the fact that I like guys in the 10-15 range about as much as the guys in the 6-8 range but all of that is really premature this early in the cycle. Some guys will continue to emerge, some will slip...
I could see someone targeting JQ or Kingston and making a big...
All these guys likely have little annoying aches and pains they are playing through at different points of the season. Not sure why they'd list it as a groin injury if they were pulling it out of the sky. I am guessing there is some soreness there for real.
In a normal regular season you treat...
Lauri is playing tonight. I'm guessing they couldn't hold him out of both today and tomorrow's game. So put him in this one and hope to lose to the Grizz tomorrow. This is a small trap game since Jokic can sometimes float... but maybe seeing Nurk fires him up and he locks in.
Should be an L...
What if the Jazz don't love their options at 6-8 and trade the pick for like Trey Murphy or someone like that? I could see a deal for a youngish vet impact player if they don't love how the board shapes up.
IDK... Carr is nice. There are also some cool pgs. Not sure if that's a need but talent is the question.
Watched Quaintance... clearly figuring things out post injury but he's huge. He looks like Kevin Looney physically and coming back from the injury kind of moves like him. I don't love...
The TS% qualifier is likely what kicks a lot of dudes out. He has the same TS% as Lauri. I think between those two and adding in some decent role guys you have a top 10 offense or close to it. How they figure out defense is another question.
Keyonte has also been really clutch... on both sides...
Knowing if we are trading vets or if the "rest" is likely going to continue is key to the ability to land 5-6th imo. I think it indicates we will sprinkle in rest but not get deep into the mud.
The thing I thought we'd figure out was that we needed to be really bad or manipulate things a lot.
I think we end up 5th or 6th depending on how hard we slam the brakes. It was silly not to be hitting the breaks a little the first 25 games. We may end up having a legit injury that wipes us...
