He’s 6’ 2.5” without shoes. All basketball shoes add at least an inch (which rounds to at least 6’ 4”).
And we have ACTUAL data on this! https://www.nba.com/stats/draft/combine-anthro?SeasonYear=2024-25
This seems like a fine time to mention that when Lauri is hobbled (as he was for almost all of last year) he is not very effective and the amount he’s playing puts him at great risk of overuse injuries which is in the interest of nobody.
This is such bull ****.
Lauri not being worth a huge contract/stating that Lauri’s return value in a trade will be less than Don and Rudy because the trade landscape has completely changed/we should’ve traded Lauri if we were going to essentially tank for four years does not equate to...
I think their floor next year is play-in (unless there’s some freakish injury ****).
This team as currently constructed with a healthy Walker and 0 shenanigans is already pretty safely a play-in team.
The time to trade Markkanen was years ago when we should’ve known we’d be tanking for multiple more seasons, not now, where we’re half a season away from intentionally competing.
It is what it is. But I don’t know what two 6’ 3” guys you’re talking about. Keyonte is 6’ 4” in shoes and so is Collier. We’ll be lucky to have that concern with WCJ or Collier.
My excitement about Keyonte is bounded. If I can flip him for Anthony Black I do that ASAP.
We have twice as many wins as the Pacers halfway through the season. We are more likely to win more games from here to end the season than win half the amount of games as the Pacers.
So in addition to Dallas and Washington diving headfirst into tanking and showing their whole asses to the league while doing so, Brooklyn is considered a “lock” to trade MPj before the deadline.
We will not have time to catchup on tanking later. We need to get serious yesterday.
