I wouldn’t say that. He’s 3rd in the league in defensive rebounding % and 4th in overall rebounding %. Almost 10 rpg in 24 minutes. There are advantages to being so big you can’t be moved. Though admittedly it does hinder overall defensive effectiveness.

To be fair, he shot over 43% from 3 last year. Still a remarkable shooting night though. Looks so funny now on Basketball Reference that he’s averaging 50ppg on over 90% from 3 for the season.

I guess the idea here is to blind the opposing team with a court the home team is used to. Can’t think of another reason for these atrocities.
