I don't think I have seen a single post with how much some of you pro KAT guys would be willing to give up for him. What kind of trade would you have in mind? For the wolves any KAT trade is going to have to bring back at least 1 or 2 really good win now pieces locked into decent contracts for a...
If Giannis hits the market then I think Houston is the likely top bidder. They can put together quite the package of young pieces and future picks. I can't imagine they even think about moving Giannis though since they have no control over any of their future picks.
How would you guys feel about Little and the suns first which could be 21-23 for 32? The Suns really want to bring back Royce and this saves them a decent chunk of luxury tax money to do it. Little has 3 more years on his contract but only around 7mil a year.
He is the type of guy that we should be taking as many swings at as possible. All of a sudden it looks like there is going to be a pretty big stock of long athletic wings to choose from with our late 1st and early 2nd pick.
One summer he plays for team USA and the next in the summer league. I have my doubts that he actually plays in the summer league with it being a terrible environment for defensive bigs.
I'm all for helping the nets but I want those suns picks so let's send them Lauri and let's not screw around and make this a rock solid 2 year tank. I want a top 5 pick in 25 and 26.
This is the way I see it.
Spurs- They have their generational player in Wemby and by himself he should be able to carry them closer to the play in than the bottom of of the west. With that in mind I expect the spurs to add win now depth this offseason and fight to be a playoff team.
Wizards-...
They will get better but we are pretty far behind most teams in the talent department. The griz should jump us comfortably. The spurs likely add win now free agents to fight for the play in. I think the blazers are more talented as well right now but I have a feeling they sell off vets and go...
I don't think Lauri is good enough to keep us out of the bottom 2 in the west if we move Sexton. Even with Sexton I think there is a good chance we are bottom 3 in the west.
It should be interesting to see how early he goes. The defensive potential is insane but can he become a decent enough offensive player to get on the floor to utilize it. I could see the knicks taking him at 25 as a project.
