The people who are talking themselves out of Kas remind of the people who talked themselves out of Doncic enough for him to slide to 3. There's definitely a reprise of sorts going on here.
Not only do I really worry about Tre's defense, I'm also worried that his offense is pretty heliocentric (and that he might end up really pounding the ball).
I think it's fair to give a bit more weight to recent performance. You obviously have to account for injuries, pathways back from injuries, if other key players are missing, etc.
We're at least three additional perfectly interlocking pieces away from the play-in. That isn't happening this offseason. Sliding to #5 basically confirmed our tank next year, IMO.
I'm still a big believer in Kas. If he's falling into the 11-15 range, then I would be supremely stoked if we could trade up from 21 to get him.

that's a recent thing. The people who aren't hanging too tightly on every breathless update from one thousand draft sources haven't stopped ranking him highly.
His lower body looks much better. Very consistent feet (including the way that he's letting his right foot drift forward through the motion). Looks improved to me.
Um, your just asking for a center that is effective in the short roll. This is already a staple of modern NBA offenses, and every single center who is trying to crack an NBA rotation is working on this.
I agree that the particular skills of the players should dictate how the team is ultimately constructed.
